Just made a Cabernet Sauvignon from a beaverdale kit at £1.33 a bottle. It is our first red and it tastes like blackcherries. Delicious, not too sweet or too dry. Easy as getting into credit card debt!!0

Thanks for this Alchemilla - i'm put a query in about what a kit contains from a seller so hopefully i'll be good to go with this soon

Hi All,
Well it has been a thoroughly unproductive weekendI've not been too well this last couple of days - feeling flu-ey
Hopefully its passed now.
I gave away 10 meals to family today - either made yesterday or from freezer - still it helps them out
I cooked another meal today - some left to freeze or for tomorrow.
I've been spending today too - a new dress, leggings, top and skirt :eek::eek: £23 in total after huge discounts so not too bad and all from the comfort of my sofa - even better :T
I also expect i'll be spending in the next few days on the wine making kit- just awaiting a reply.
So lots to catch up on in the next couple of days.
I meant to say i haven't lost any weight - but i've not gained any either which is a good thing :T There are a couple of pieces of exercise equipment that i want to invest in when i can look into them too - they're maximum £25 so nothing too big but will hopefully help. I am going to a wedding in may so that is a good date for the first target i am aiming towards
Sold the book i listed :T
Going to read some diaries for some inspirationCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

I am just not used to having spending money and know the logical thing to do is save it for months where we have a couple of nights out planned etc. + £20 week is a very small budget really. I am still getting used to not throwing all of the money at bills
What kind of things do you envisage spending it on? I have the same budget, but am a cheap date so it is ample for my needs and often builds up if I am too busy in work to have time to spend it.DedicatedDFW wrote: »I really enjoyed Amsterdam - have you been before ?
nope, first time for both of us. We have 4 and a bit days there. Any tips?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Hi PD, my weekly spends is to cover all my toiletries, make-up, new clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, meals out, days out, nights out, theatre tickets, gig tickets - basically any tickets to events as well as what i'll need to spend whilst i'm there, hairdresser normally comes a bit out of this and a bit from extra money i try and make and weekends away and any additional travel expenses these incur. Think thats most of the things this is for
