Morning All
I am super tired today but am up and have washed pots had brekkie and a cuppa :coffee:and need to plan the day
I didn't want to have a lie-in as then i would struggle to get to sleep tonight and i have to be up very early for work tomorrow
So i'm just going to finish my coffee and then start on the studying
Yesterday i got most of the presents wrapped so need to finish off a few today.
I decluttered the bit of the wardrobe i wanted to but think i may try and finish all of it before chrimble. I have decluttered so much the last 12mths that the section i did last night i kept everything - it has been pared down as far as it will go
I also need to clean and tidy downstairs today and sort out tea
I feel tired just writing all that down :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I also went through my finances for the month yesterday - i'm going to check it again later but think from pay this month i can put £100 into savings - this is for the 'cushion' savings not for house jobs and maybe a small payment to the mortgage as well
With the dress i bought the other day i've not tried it on yet so will be doing that later if i am keeping it i have been told i'll be getting some money (£30) for xmas - as this is what the dress was in the sale i will 'use' that money on the dress and then send the £30 to the mortgage as wellCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
I've been half pondering my money targets in the back of my mind. I am on a very low wage which is just part of the reason i want a new job; and have a very small spending budget which i only just started in the last couple of months. My income will not support the targets i have set myself so in some ways wildly unrealistic - but with a new job with a reasonable income then not so unachieveable
So more incentive to get a new job
My regular overpayment which i will start again in january will take me £2400 towards the £5000 overpayment target leaving me £2600 to find
£600 i should be able to do from cutting back on grocery shopping. If the grocery shopping comes in under budget for the week / monthe the difference will be split 50% to mortgage overpayment and 25% to urgent jobs. I think this should easily be achievable if i plan properly.
When i had my assignment due i did buy a lot of ready meals which cost me a bit simply because i did not have time to cook for us as well as get the words on paper. So a bit of planning will go a long way
So £2000 left to find....
There is no opportunity to earn extra money at work so overtime / payrise etc. cannot be done.
I have done MS's in the past but as the fees seem very low for alot of the jobs now i don't tend to do them - i was also finding it was time consuming searching for the jobs and then the reports etc.
Hmm so £2000 seems to be from the bay of e and carboots and cashback. Hard - but its meant to be a stretch and should be achievableAlso there will be the savings on travel costs when not in work.
So i'm happy that this is a stretch for me to achieve but should be doable :T If i do get a new job then i will revise my target if my pay increases
If anyone has any suggestions for money making / saving that i've missed please let me know

Finished section of study and am now about to start the next bit
Dusted all of downstairs - hoovering and a bit of tidying to do still.
Looked at finances again - i can pay £100 into savings :T and £10 to mortgage :T just waiting of payday to be able to do that
I like breaking things down into chunks so i'll start next bit of study, then tidy 5 items away and add ingredients for recipe to shopping list then that is done - then back here for a breakCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Don't know how much spare time you have on your hands, but online surveys can bring in a few pennies. They won't make you rich overnight but its money for little effort (particularly if you spend a lot of time online anyway as you can do a lot of them in the background).
I predominantly use the money I make to help pay towards Christmas, but we've used it for things like nights out as well.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Thanks pavlovs_dog - i have done surveys on and off - it really depends on the amount of time i have as my course takes up most of my free time tbh. But i do like getting the vouchers for doing them
Change of plans today  We are going out  i am shattered and have such a lot to do
I am going to vacuum downstairs and tidy away 5 more things, finish off the wrapping of xmas prezzies and then try and pull myself into a presentable state
If most of the cleaning is done by the time i go out then i should be ok - i think its just a deep clean in the kitchen that i'll need to leave until tomorrow after work as there isn't much chance of my mr taking the initiative grr!
I've done the next 2 parts of my study and have my book ready for my commute tomorrow :T
I'd best get a wriggle on - hope everyone has a good day.
Ooh - MS today - tidies a book away by listing it for sale :TCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
