I read the post prior to deletion. I'd probably wear something awful next time I saw her and see if she copied that :rotfl:.

Seriously though, it would annoy me, but she obviously respects your style and judgement :T. Use her to try out your decorating ideas - better than a 3d computer programme :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Yeay for running! I plan on starting the couch to 5k programme this year - my sister did it last year. I want to start it when my DH has a job, though, 'cos I don't want him criticising/ encouraging me - which he will! In the meantime I plan on using the cross trainer - I starte dout on this last year really well and then had a chest infection for about 4 months (resulting in xrays and stuff) and dropped it because of that and never picked it back up again

Brilliant re bargainacious gifts! :) I used to try really hard for the 'perfect' gift for everyone - now I only do that for those who put in a similar effort! ;)

You should definitely do it greent and come on here for any support :D My Mr is the same - he can be quite negative at times - which is really frustrating as i do all the house cleaning jobs / cooking / food shopping etc. which takes up my time and is tiring in itself.

Hope you are better now - sometimes it is a matter of just getting back into it. Do you have your own cross trainer ? - this is another reason i want us to move somewhere bigger - i'd ideally love a detached house - 4 bedroom - there are just 2 of us but we'd have a spare room we can each use for just our own things so mine would be a study - these could double up as guest rooms but we'd have another room just for that anyways and there aren't any detached 3 beds here ;):) I'd like a big kitchen and a dining room then we can have people over :) Living room, garage and maybe a little extension at the back of this for an exercise area :D I'd like a bigger garden so i can have some raised beds too and some chickens :D

And thank you for your understanding with the gift situation - i didn't want to sound ungrateful but i think some people do just buy something as they feel obliged to and grab any old thing  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you all for your lovely posts and making me feel better - my comp was really playing up yesterday so i couldn't get back on here as by the time i'd got the computer to work i had to list as many things as possible on the bay of e - got 28 items on :T I'm going to aim for 10 more today - i was going to do 22 but i'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and i've lots to do in other areas as well - although the living room is looking horrendous with stuff to be listed piled up everywhere  - if i had a spare room to use it would come in very handy about now :D

After getting in from work i washed pots and made me a quick and simple tea - using up stuff that needed to be, photo'd stuff ready to prepare listings realised bread was going to run out - i thought about messaging my Mr to pick one up but as i committed to it on here popped ingredients in and bread is baking as we speak :T

A productive hour or so then :) Lets hope i can keep it up :D

Bread yesterday made a delicious aroma - but i managed not to eat any wth my 8pm weekday curfew on food :naughty:

My Mr got home earlier than expected so i didn't get the chance to catch up on any diaries which i'll try and do today :)

    Today i want to:

get up to date on study
    Sort work bag out
    Includes putting folder in bag
list 20 items on the bay of e and get a pile of 10 more items together (oops not list i mean do the write up & pics but wait for flw as only low value stuff)
    Ring A
    Ring H
Try on all clothes from last week - i *want* to return everything that needs to be returned tomorrow
Cook new recipe so tea is quick and easy tomorrow :)
Lift out and sort out all bags
Get to my appointment on time and hope they are running on time

I've already looked for a new job this morning - nothing to apply for :( And i've looked for MS's - same again there :rotfl:

Sent an e-mail that i needed to get done, lifted out all stuff to be tried on, checked bay of e and had a cuppa :coffee:

    When i get back i'll:

    complete next section of study
3 items written up ready for the bay of e
    bag up ironing ready
    Wash pots

Urgh! Need to turn today around and think positively -

Been to appointment costing me time and money (have to drive there) only be told i need the appointment with someone else and have to go back again!!! I am so annoyed and unfortunately may have pointed out that when i specifically asked for the appointment with the person i do need to see and this was refused  I think they have no concept of just how tight things are financially for some people ie moi and to have to make the same journey twice due to their mistake is really annoying.

Thought i'd perk myself up with getting a resolution on another issue - and that didn't work out either :( Estimated cost of petrol x 1 extra journey needed + this is £283.50 :eek::eek: May have made a little complaint about what i thought of their service as well - so something else ongoing when they won't change their decision either. Pants!

Ok, dealing with the things i can - study, bay of e and ironing - and breathe :o am just so upset at this extra expense :o

Decided to put packets of dried stuff in best before date order - unfortunately threw a few away too :( I used 1 the other day and it was much nicer when i'd made it before (when it was before the date) so decided better to throw away rather than spoil the flavour of tea again :o and be more mindful now - these were a very long time out of date... I did keep some best before things that had gone past the date as i've not tried one since and these ones may be just fine *fingers crossed*

Tried on 2 items - 1 keeping its just very *me* and also i was very glad i could do the zip up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and even better - that i could also sit down :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: - the other is damaged - can't see this until its on though so that'll be a small refund onto the card.

Sorted out more bay of e stuff - got 8 items photo'd and written up - easy when is very brief description as not much else to say about them.

Got another small pile photo'd and ready to do descriptions of :)

Hung up pair of pants - only had about 1 month :o

Threw out an item from the pile of doom.

Moved dried items from washing :)

    Pots washed.

    Ironing bagged up.

Study done - more to do of course :D

Ok next round of stuff to achieve will be:-

    Complete next section of study.
Try on / bag up more return items ready for tomorrow
    Check for cashback
Do write ups for bay of e
Sort through just 10 items to go either bay of e or for weighing in

Does anyone know of any clothes buying places where they buy by the weight - i've looked on-line but none near me and think i may be missing the obvious name of somewhere

Phew! Did that little lot as well as making 2 phone calls - getting nowhere fast with either enquiry :wall: Pretty darned annoyed about the money thing sfrom today o i will make my complaint and see what happens and put it out of my mind as well.

I also cooked tea for tomorrow - homemade meatballs in a sauce - will save time tomorrow and i'm hoping there is enough for another meal for Thursday as well :T I got the meat for this for just 19p :j so hopefully, if it tastes nice, i can make it again as i got at least 2 more packs - everyone was already stood at the reduced section but they were getting all the ready meals and this was the only meat there and no-one else was interestedin it so i thought i might as well pick it all up :)

    Ok: - next list:-

Next section of study to be completed
sort through 10 more items bay of e / weigh in pile
Try on dress that i've been putting off - got in 2 sizes for fit so 1 will be going back tomorrow ;)
Also leggings - make sure they are ok and if not return
    Bags - sort out! :D

    Very impressive ebaying, DDFW!

I googled cash for clothes and name of my city when I sold some of mine - we're not a big city and have 3 or 4 locally, so hopefully you can fine something not too far away! The one I go to (about 3 miles away and very close to my nearest sainsburys, so I combine the trip) also takes bedding @ 20p, dvds & cds @ 20p and books @ 5p/ kilo (clothes/ handbags/ shoes/ jewellery @ 60p) Not much, but I got rid of some cds there which even music magpie wouldn't take after I listed them 4 or 5 times of fleabay. Better than nothing :)
