Decluttering is going brilliantly, I agree that outdoors counts too ~ can't wait till it stops raining long enough to sort ours out a bit!

Did you get that banking issue from the other day sorted out, were the bank able to stop the fraudsters?

    Hope you're feeling better too!

Uh oh - annoyed smilies tell me the response was still a daft one :( sorry about that.

I decluttered loads of papers on Sunday morning (couldn't sleep, couldn't concentrate, had to do something!). And I felt very virtuous, even tho I *did* go back to bed afterwards :)

Good luck with the assignment work.

Hey KC - i have done that in the past - been so awake that i needed to do something and then gone back to bed later - its all good in my book as it gets things done when you have the energy for them :T

Re. Mortgage  Yes - very annoying - basically the letter confirmed what i thought was correct and thereby contradicted most of the information i have been given over the phone. 45+ minutes this morning getting this sorted out. Hopefully the next letter will confirm what i want it to :) Grr! just realised something they've missed back on the phone!

  • And i'm back - you think as people who deal with these things all the time they'd pick up on all aspects of it wouldn't you? Anyways tis done. Assume another week or so for a letter to appear and then we'll see :)

Not dynamic enough Alchemilla - had a super lie-in this morning when i should have been up and at em  I'll produce my list of 'to be achieveds' shortly :D - have to say too our house is tiny so after years of it being overfull it is just good to let things go :)

  • To Do List:~

    Assignment
part 1 of 5 on remaining wardrobe sections
When it brightens up photo bay of e items
    List bay of e items
    re-list unsold items
    Surveys, complete as they arrive
    Contact MS

That'll do for now i think  First off breakfast and then on with the assignment - usual rotation i think of 200 words some physical sorting out of stuff, back here and then getting on with it again :)

I know what you mean there - my last house was really big, and I stuffed it so full, it took about a year to declutter. And then when I moved here, much smaller, I'd still kept too much - it took me forever!

Mortgage fiasco sounds very vexing. Hope they pull their socks up very soon. Grrrr indeed.

Sorry you're still poorly :( Get well soon, take it easy xx
  • Hi guys and thanks :)

i have to admit cheery i was less than impressed at spending 45 minutes on a premium rate number because the person i spoke to was telling me they can't do what the letter was telling me they could do. I was calmly insistent though so hopefully it'll be sorted *fingers crossed*

Ok - some assignmen more done than it was...

Part 1 of 5 of wardrobe declutter started:-

3/4 length coats and jackets in this section = 11

3 faux fur coats - all were gifts for birthdays or xmas:-

1 slightly longer (and not yet worn )
1 3/4 length - now had plenty of wear especially this last year
1 short jacket 3/4 length sleeves - harder to wear with the short sleeves but is stunning and was a gift...

OK - 3/4 sleeve jacket i will part with if i get the right money for it - i'll photograph it and pop it on bay of e later but keep it in my wardrobe - i'm keeping it if it doesn't sell and i've had it a while so am sure person will understand who gifted it

2 denim jackets - both new last year and 1 v. casual and other blazer style - keep both i think - will just try blazer 1 on again to be sure

5 faux leather jackets: - 1 to be listed, 1, well worn and still worn alot and wouldn't sell for much anyway, 1 i would sell except it got ripped  2 different coloured ones - 1 new last year to replace the well worn one that i've still kept...

1 gorgeous new tweed jacket - will sell if i get the right amount for it

  • Just how much weight have i put on  So thats 4 jackets and a pair of shorts now to be listed...

Next section of 1 of 5 of wardrobe lifted out to be decluttered.

All previous items written up for listing have been photographed

    Mortgage paperwork tidied back away.

    Screened out of 2 surveys.

    Next:-

    200 words
photo and write up 4 jackets and 1 pair of shorts ready for listing
sort through some more of wardrobe items..

Phew popped in for a catch up and you made me feel exhausted with all that decluttering. And I thought I was doing well. Off to have a cup of tea now to recover :rotfl:
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Thats a lot of coats and jackets :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but good for you for working on it.

45 mins on a premium rate!!!! Noooooooooo .... do you know about saynoto0870? I never phone the expensive number if I can avoid it. Last month, for the first time, I had an answerphone message saying "we've traced your phone, you're not abroad, phone the right number" :p grrr, but it nearly always works.

    Have a good one!
