  • Morning all :)

Lots of things need to be done today. Mainly the assignment needs to be re-written at least once

Usual plan of 200 words, something practical and then back here before getting on with the next lot :)

I lifted out the wrong meat for tea from the freezer - i mentioned i wasn't well yesterday so think i was just a bit out of it. Means it'll take more time to cook and prepare. and i'm wondering what to do with the onions i've already chopped...

I have completed the planned decluttering from yesterday - as mentioned 5 pairs of new tights for bay of e - happy to keep them but need the pennies and also re-did the make-up 16 items for bay of e  I really had had enough of the declutter but thats what i like about posting something on here - it pushes me to get it done :) It also felt lovely waking up with all my things nice and tidy - what will i do with myself when there is nothing left to declutter ?

I've got the wardrobe to declutter and my vinyl collection - we watched a film the other day where there was a record player which reminded me so i mentioned to my Mr my plans to sell mine and my Mr seems to think i shouldn't... i'll wait until the summer, if, when i'm not studying i'm still not playing records then i will sell it..

I think the only bit of the wardrobe i'll tackle today is the top of the wardrobe - the rest can wait until next week when i am more in the mood for it i hope

I am also thinking ahead to march and the next room to tackle on the declutter - either the spare room or the kitchen - any votes?

    Right:-

    200 words
    wash pots
    back here

  • Assignment is hard going. 200 words done, not great words but words nonetheless.

Pots washed and a quick check on the bay of e. And an admiring glance into the clutter free zone of the bedroom :D I must sound really untidy - it wasn't v. messy which is why it wasn't really noticed but just 1 or 2 things not in place - and they are in place now  amazing the diffence it makes :D

Checked amount owed on credit card this month  The car repair has been paid on it as well as other extras - the bulk buying to save money etc. I *need* to sell some things this month and next to cover keeping the car on the road, insurance for car and house too...

    Next 200 words

write up at least 3 items on the bay of e

declutter basket (on top of wardrobe) and check nothing else up there - i don't think there is so this will take me down to the split-into-5-sections of the wardrobe remaining - the top of it was the 6th section and the box of records  I may need to start the next area of declutter after this as i am back to being motivated after stalling yesterday :D

I have got:- the bathroom, spare room, landing, under stairs storage, kitchen and living room all left to declutter. The landing is tiny but needs accounting for. as i said i think next is either the spare bedroom or the kitchen  I am leaning more towards the spare room at the mo. to give me chance to eat more out of the kitchen so have less to declutter :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

:rotfl: VERY impressed at your decluttering! :j :j

I did once consider what I'd do once everywhere was decluttered and all the decorating jobs were actually done and everything fixed...

... then I realised that in actual fact I spend very little time decorating/decluttering/cleaning anyway (hence why it all still needs doing) so in reality not much would change, I'd just be able to find things more easily :rotfl:

Good going with the studying there too! :j

Thanks Cheery - the house needs decluttering for 2 pressing reasons - its a very small house if 1 thing is out of place it looks really untidy. It just feels better being in a tidy environment :) I also *need* extra money - no time to take on a new job as yet with working full time and ou so selling surplus stuff makes sense :) i am sure though if someone else came in they'd find lots more to declutter too :o

I'm hungry - must find something to eat.. thinking delicious fried tomatoes :D

    Eating is the priority ;)

Done 200 words, written up descriptions for some bay of e items so thats another £20 worth of items to go on on the FLW.

As i said i'm hungry so will make some lunch :)

    Then:-

    next 200 words
declutter basket! not done as too hungry :rotfl:
Write up descriptions for 5 bay of e items

Rain has stopped for the moment and now it looks nice and bright outside but i *must* get on with assignment

Made lunch, also chopped loads of veggies up to prepare tomorrows lunch and got that cooked too :)

    Tea is also underway.

    I am shattered

Basket decluttered - took ages  lots and lots of spare buttons, beads, threads, hook & eye fastenings etc. All going in a bag to the carboot :T 4 more items to the carboot as well. 1 item to bay of e. Space is fab :T

a few more items written up for the bay of e - thats £42 in total that i've prepared for listing today.

    200 words done :T

Shattered. Taken on some water as i don't think i've had enough this weekend

There was nothing else on top of the wardrobe to declutter :T So i've now got the 5 wardrobe sections to complete and the record collection. Tomorrow i may do the record collection and tuesday start on the wardrobe

I need to make sure that i get all the items written up photographed and that all the items bagged up for bay of e are photo'd and written up too - especially as i am quite a way from the £500 target i set myself for this month

Need to get more words down now, hope everyone is enjoying a nice sunday :)

    Good work there! :j :j

I decluttered the garden, does that count?! :D Took a load of stuff to the tip - been meaning to do it for ages, but then car broke and I was waiting til we got a new one, but since the old one will still do a few miles at a time I figured I might as well fill that with mud and spiders instead of the (currently non-existent) new one :D

Got rid of a whole car full of stuff :j :j :j
  • Hello All :)

Uh oh - annoyed smilies tell me the response was still a daft one :( sorry about that.

I decluttered loads of papers on Sunday morning (couldn't sleep, couldn't concentrate, had to do something!). And I felt very virtuous, even tho I *did* go back to bed afterwards :)

Good luck with the assignment work.
