    How very posh!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Not really - especially when none of it matches :o

Drawer 1 = underwear, perfume, skinny belts, thermal vests and long johns :D

Drawer 2 = pjs, socks - and i have lots of v thick socks (i don't like having cold feet :D) And many, many pairs of tights - worn both under pants / leggings to keep me warm and also lots of gorgeous patterned ones - bought for £1 instead of £10 :T :D

I've gone through the receipts:- £18.25 'extra' spend :eek: This was 3 big multi packs of my some of my favourite crisps - 3 as in 1 from each type £1 each, headache tablets - just handy to have in if needed 25p, 2 x tom paste - love the stuff 35p each - much cheaper than my usual supermarket, £2 - diced steak reduced from £8, veg both YS and on offer so made sense to buy fresh and use £4, crumpets, pies for tea as we really didn't want what we'd defrosted - then didn't have the pies either £2.75 and other bits of things too. It will all be used but it is alot of money :(

I've decluttered the top of the drawers. Nothing to part with. This is a jewellery box and stand, 2 ornaments (sentimental) and mirror. Jewellry box and stand just have all costume jewellery in - and it is all worn or i can't part with it as sentimental - bits of plastic jewellery not taking up much room but not worn and would seem really wrong to throw away. Hmm.. Some of the necklaces are not worn very often but as i snaffled them up at £1 instead of £20 :T and do wear on occasion much better to keep for when needed rather than having to potentially spend alot to replace

I am a little frustrated at not finding anything to sell but i have decluttered so many times now and must be getting to the point where what i have is what i really need to keep. I am telling myself as well that its pointless getting rid of an item just for the sake of gettig rid of something but then needing to spend more to replace it.

I also did some study :)

    Washing into dryer.

    Dryer doing its thing

    2nd load of washing on

    Next:-

    next bit of study
drawer 1 to be emptied and sorted
write out budget - i have 1 item in the wrong section and it nearly got overlooked this last month

Next bit of study completed., washer actually on now - seemed to have missed that bit last time :o Dryer emptied and stuff ready to be moved

drawer 1 done and 3 items thrown away - 1 perfume to the carboot - i'm not risking bay of e with it after getting stung before

monthly accounts written out - each item in correct area now so easier to be on top of it :)

    Old insurance documents removed :)

Next: - next bit of assignment / study
    2nd drawer
file insurance documents for this year
    clear dumping ground :)

Not checked battery item, not decluttered drawer. Rest of mini list was done. Had a bit of a wave of illness, drank lots of water, went outside to get my temperature to drop and have decided on a very plain tea of jacket potatoes :D Tea is in the oven and i am feeling a little bit better now :) Sorry its dull hearing me witter on about being ill all the time - i pop it down mostly so i have a bit of a record to track back over  As i say feeling a little better now but not 100%

I have started the 2nd drawer declutter - 5 items binned - beyond salvaging. I've put my plain tights in one place - these i mostly wear under other things for warmth and to protect against see-through leggings  Other tights i have a huge pile growing - not quite sure on the number of pairs but i'm not about to start selling my worn tights  i have a few pairs that were recently purchased and are not worn but as i said £1 is a bargain price for them - reduced from £10 - £12 :T

So i need to make sure i check the battery item so that its either working and ready to go or thrown away. Drawer needs finishing off otherwise i won't be able to get into bed later ;) At least that is another whole area completely decluttered and finished off :)

If i am up to it i will start the make-up re-visit again - no great branded items but even a £1 or £2 for things will help with the car bill

Meant to say part of this weeks shopping overspend was on 2 of my favourite plants / flowers only 70p each - a 6 pack would have been cheaper but a bigger spend too - next week i need to get these planted out - weather permitting :)

Just delurking to say hi and I hope you soon feel better.

You're doing so well as you plod along, getting what needs to be done achieved, despite the hiccups on the way, it's really inspirational.
PS: I also have more than one underwear drawer ~ rough rule of thumb is that the number of drawers you need will depend on the size of the drawers involved! :rotfl:

Well that was an interesting hour - after posting i figured i'd just check my bank account - i am expecting nothing in or out of it but figured i'd check anyway. Just spent the last hour sorting out a potentially fraudulent transaction on my account :( Glad i checked it though  And it distracted me from my tummy :) and whilst on hold i carried on with the drawer and grabbed the phone when the horrid music stopped

I now need to monitor my account so wil be a bit of time before all sorted out fully. Bank offered plenty of re-assurance but still leaves me a tad anxious as i am the kind of person who likes the peace of mind to know something has been fully resolved. They can't do more at the moment though so as i ay i am happy with this service so far.
