Good luck with the new application! In it to win it, really - you can catch up on the Spanish if you want to stay with it, but a job you really fancy doesn't come along *that* often.

    Many positive vibes :):):)

MSE stuff sounds great! I love hearing about that level :)

Hey KC :D <-- i'll never get tired of saying that :rotfl:

Absolutely my reasoning KC AND i got another application in today too - phew!

MSE has been lacking today though as... i cannot stop eating - ok *slight* exaggeration but i am just so hungry - maybe its my body getting ready to hibernate for the winter ? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Spent far too much on food though :naughty:

Monday will see me properly planning for next week - i think its a combination of being so busy and tired and struggling for satidfying meals as i have no means of heating anything up at work. i *will* do better ;)

  • Good luck with the job application. Definitely more important than the Spanish class and you can't do everything.

I have just started running again after a few months of doing nothing. It's tough motivating myself to go out in the dark and I am so slow. What sort of distances are you up to? Have you got a place in a marathon next year? I'll be really jealous if you got into London!

Hey Chocs :j:j:j How are things with you? Running distances are much less than where they need to be with a half marathon on the horizon :eek::eek: but don't worry i am non-speedy too so we can be virtual buddies :D

I didn't apply to london this year :( i think you pretty much have to apply once the places open. I'm thinking of an early marathon next year so is still april time - just not sure that the running for 4+ hours is *really* something i want to do - ok the once for a marathon yes but the training that is needed is *alot* of time. I think i'm just time poor at the moment. Travel is taking up more of my time due to delays and its dark when i leave and when i get home again - some days i am out for 15 hours straight

Thinking about the one at the Lakes though :D

But i *realise* if you are putting into races we might actually run one together :) i say together loosely - i'll only slow you down :rotfl::rotfl:

Have you started a diary chocs?

  • You've all the time in the world to learn a language but the job application had a deadline. Def the right decision. Best of luck with it.

Thanks INOD - it is appreciated - i said the same thing to myslef but then felt guilty about the class :o - i'll do extra homework to make up for it

    Hi DDFW.
Good luck with the job application.
    You're doing really well. :j
I have a list as long as my arm of jobs to do around the house. Kitchen, bathroom, roof, drive, decorating, garden, workshop...
I need to sell some stuff on ebay too. I did accept the offer to list this weekend but I ran out of time and I've been busy all day today. I still have some freebies left this month so I will use them up and try and find some higher value items to sell.
Well my poor diary has been so neglected as of late. :o
Better go and check my diary land...fully expecting tumbleweeds! Lol

  • A long day today and have the feeling it should be later in the week but ho hum its only Tuesday

Shattered after job applications and i want to tweak my CV slightly - not needed for any of the jobs i've gone for as were all application forms to fill out - got to 17 pages on one

As i said a bit of a non-mse day in terms of spends :( But it will get better next week :)

    MSE stuff: -

found some bargainous deoderant and stocked up - 4 big tins for less than £1 :T

Used already paid for transport and walking instead of car.

Confirmed xmas jumper bought a couple of weeks back is going back so a little refund due there - tis very warm and snuggly though but it is not needed

    Defrosted pre-cooked tea :T

    Decluttered -

    torn bag into bin
favourite ruined leggings into bin *sob*
top into rag bag - not even sure its fit for that really :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Feel bad about the bag and pants going to landfill but they are beyond salvage and i cannot think of anything else they could reasonably be used for given the material and the damage.

    Hope all are well x

Isn't it awful to have to really throw things away! Did you take photos? I had to throw away my very favourite sandals this summer, the sole had thinned so much I could feel every pebble, and then it wore through and it was flapping - quite dangerous, actually, and there was nothing left to actually mend :rotfl: I still took a photo before they went in the bin, though, I loved those sandals :rotfl:

    Sleep well :)

You don't need to put textiles to landfill. It doesn't matter what condition they are in, they are either reused or shredded and used for industrial rags or stuffing.

If you are sending them to charity just check they will accept rags as well - there's a value in them too, so it's always worth doing.
