Fruit purge update - have just stripped off and weighed and have lost 4.5lbs (think it may be 5 but am erring on the side of caution for now). Very pleased with that as I feel loads less bloated and generally better in myself. The weeing was a bit of a pain but that was about the only drawback - I ate lots and wasn't hungry at all. It's given me the motivation to get back to healthy eating again as I don't want to put it back on again.
Sounds great! A good kickstart to carry on with the healthy!
I've behaved myself so far today with Greek Yoghurt and Fruit but trying to stay away from pigging out later on! Making the most of being able to drink as much as I want (liquid not alcohol!) After just 2 years of teaching I have trained my bladder to not wee at all during the daytime as my classroom is up 3 flights of stairs and there's not a moment to spare during the day! :A[STRIKE]7lbs to lose [/STRIKE]

I have the Nanoblur and it does sort of "soften the lines" and make me look a little more dewy, but for me the product that I would sell my body:rotfl::eek: to keep buying is the Indeed Labs Hydraluron, a pea sized amount applied to the face after serum, but before moisturiser plumps up my (64.3/4 year old) skin amazingly.
Well tried the Nanoblur - it's okish but I won't be buying it again. I will try the Indeed Labs Hydralon. Can you tell me who stocks it.
Not tried the peel kit yet - perhaps at the weekend.0 -

No, I won't be buying the Nanoblur again either. Many years ago Avon sold a product called Invisible Light (don't know if it is still current), to wear under make up, or sometimes I would mix a little in my hand with liquid (Clinique) foundation. It was streets ahead of the Nanoblur for me.
Hydraluron is made by the same people as Nanoblur and I have only ever seen it in B**ts, it is £25.00 (ish) but I wait for 1/3 off or 3 for 2 offers. Have a read here if you have a few minutes

Re: the peel kit, have you seen this thread:-

some very useful information on peels, and several posters advise that the phials of the No7 kit are very generous and will do lots more applications for them than the instructions :money:
Just back from my strength training session with PT, had a light lunch of sardines on rice cakes, so off for a nice shower and pamper before Mr MM gets back from cycling, as although sunny again now we have recently had a heavy and prolonged shower of rain:( so he will need the shower pronto. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. As a fellow teacher I know exactly what you mean! I get to work at 7.30 and leave after 4pm and hold it all day, there just isn't time for the luxury of the loo.
My technician fell over laughing the other day when I had an unexpected free lesson and said I'd "treat myself to a wee"!!
Right, unpacking done, washing in, dog walked and now I'm trying to force myself to do some school work - there's such a mountain of it I don't really know where to start0 -
healthy eating out the window as I have been indoors all day and found a box of biscuits that I have been dipping into all day
I know tomorrow is another day however I was so pleased with how well I was doing and I am disappointed at my lack of self control.
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -

Me too! There's tomorrow.... I am STILL sat at home waiting. How typical that it will come at the last possible minute after a whole day at home!![STRIKE]7lbs to lose [/STRIKE]

Fab Friday
The sun is shining, the birds are singing.
Time to get the glad rags on and have some fun.
Out with DS2 today, first to inspect prop 2 - the renos are really cracking on. The trades have been in for a week now and good progress is being made. Then maybe a nice little shopping trip.
Had some good news yesterday. Met with conservation officer and builders at Prop 1. They all went up the scaffolding (I kept my feet firmly on the ground:rotfl:) to ascertain how much exterior work needed to be done.
Well - Lady Luck is with us, not nearly so bad as I had feared. I had set aside a large contingency fund for this work - thankfully it won't be needed. My savings are safe:rotfl:
Time to celebrate - now about those chandeliers……...;).0 -
Congratulations LL!
Been up since 5.30 marking flipping school work :mad::mad: So much for a holiday!
Worked until about 9.30 last night too.... Still loads to do:(:(
Off to Liverpool today to catch up with a friend that moved there recently, hopefully just a few hours as I still have a lot to do here.
Will make an effort and wear one of my new purchases, not sure what yet but its cold so it may be a new deep V neck jumper with vest thing underneath.
Will try to do some more work when I get back before the rugby tonight and some more fabbing prior to Fling's return.
Just walked the dog so a little bit of exercise done but more to do later.....busy day:eek::eek::eek::eek:0 -
Have wrenched my knee again - no idea how and I've been hobbling around like a worn out race horse.
Managed to do a bit of shopping for bathroom accessories ready for the tiler next week but had to cut the trip short because my knee just wouldn't hold out.:o.
Watched a bit of the rugby with OH whilst doing my Pilates, hopefully the stretches will help my knee a bit. OH has been enjoying the winter olympics, nice to see we are doing so well.
Going to watch The Good Wife which I recorded yesterday whilst giving myself a mini manicure and then a a nice early night.
Have a fab weekend.0 -
WW Hope you had an ace time in Liverpool catching up with your friend!!
LL- Is it best you go and get your knee looked at or do you think you just need to take it easy for a bit?
Well I've spent a lot of my week of mooching about the house and now suddenly feel like my return to work is v. imminent and I have lots to do!
Off mountain biking today... my friend is big into it and lending me a good bike to go with him. It's funnny how I feel all fit and healthy at spinning classes etc but something tells me today is going to be tough/ muddy!
I am going to decide which runs to sign up to, definitely doing race for life with the girls as a social and charity thing but I would like to do a 10km this year too if I can find one at the right time so I shall research that this morning.
I LOVE this time of year when waking up it's completely light- it makes you feel so much more alive and ready to tackle the day ahead!
Have a great day all- will report in later when no doubt collapsed on sofa after biking episode.[STRIKE]7lbs to lose [/STRIKE]
