    Hi Everyone

Maman - I agree a nice mid length dress would look very elegant. I've not mooched round the shops recently so not sure what's out there tbh but now that you are so nice and slim I'm sure you will have lots of choice.

Went to see another cottage this morning - no joy. Popped in to see my mum, then a bit of shopping so now going to have a rest this afternoon. My aching jaw kept me awake most of the night so hopefully will have a little doze this afternoon. I have a huge bruise now.

DS2 bringing the first of the fish tonight for OH's fish tank. ;), so will cook a nice roast tonight.

My healthy eating is going well as is the pilates. I'm definitely losing some off my tummy.

Rummer - you are doing really well, don't worry too much about your tummy springing back into shape - it will take time especially as you had a C section. When your doctor gives you the all clear you can start with a few tummy exercises - if you have the time!!!

When I wanted to get out of joggles and t-shirts I bought some trousers and jeans with elasticated waists, also a couple of wrap around skirts and dresses. As my tummy got smaller I could just wrap them tighter.

When I had my first child I put on 4.1/2 stone - I was like a baby elephant. Within 4 months I lost about 3 stones. By the time he was 1 I was below my pre-pregnancy weight. All that dashing around after a toddler soon shifts the weight.

Don't know if you are breast feeding but apparently that helps the tummy muscles tighten up again. I could actually feel mine contracting when I fed my babies.

Don't worry - if you eating a good healthy diet and avoiding the rubbish the weight should come off quite quickly.

LL It is good to hear there are cottages coming up for sale as it is still quite early in the season for there to be many available.

I am not too worried about my weight as it is still very early days and my boy is my priority. It is more the fact that I have little to wear that fits making it tricky to dress every day.

I've been having that problem too. When I post a response it disappears and tells me the internet has stopped working, which I hasn't!! I'm blaming new computer and Windows 8.

Glorious day here, nice and warm and sunny.

Have just blitzed the bungalow and done a mini wardrobe sort out, 2 bags for the charity shop. Tried on my tailored jeans - yes!!!!! I can ditch the boyfriend ones, they're hanging off me. :rotfl: All that healthy eating and the pilates is starting to work.

Not going anywhere today - my face looks like I've gone a couple of rounds with Mike Tyson:eek: Still needing a regular intake of pain killers.

I will just walk round the grounds before I visit OH. Shouldn't get too many stares:rotfl:

    Time for lunch.

    Afternoon all!
Hope your face isn't too painful LL and well done on the weight loss.

Had a very productive day so far - dog walked and bathed (he was rotten after a trek around a very mucky National Trust place yesterday), hair finally dyed (the Dickie Davies look is not a good one for me!), whole house scrubbed to within an inch of its life, bedding changed and washed, 2 more loads of laundry done and drying, a report for work I've been putting off doing finished and emailed in (only took an hour in the end:o) and a visit to Tesco for fresh stuff for the week.

Still to do - another dog walk, marking a small set of books, cooking some healthy "ready" meals for the week, maybe a bit of ironing (although I would have to be VERY bored to do this :rotfl:), and hoovering out the car.

I will have a bit of a rest for a while first though - haven't sat down all day and was up at 7.30.

On the fab front - now my hair is dyed I need to do my eyebrows and toenails ( a job for watching telly with tonight) and to sort out some work clothes for the week. Last week was bonkers and I didn't plan very well so it led to flinging on clothes in the morning in a rush.
I feel fat today too - it may have something to do with hormones (boobs...need I say more? ;)), but its also certainly not helped with copious amounts of wine and crisps.:o Must cut back this week or I'll turn into a podge again.

Right, better get on with sorting the finances.
    Have a good week xx

    Evening everyone :)

Had a lovely trek to park with kids, hubby and dog in tow. Lovely sunshine and not too cold.
Did some yoga last night and more this morning.
Have decided to ditch the fasting. I really want to do it for the health benefits but it's making me obsess about food which isn't good :( anyway it's not the end of the world. I have out some weight on over Christmas and been bingeing a bit on chocolate (a throwback to the fasting :o:o:o). Anyway I am not going to stress about it because that will only make me want to reach for the chocolate more. Not going to even think about the whole great weight loss issue as quite frankly I am sick of it :o

Anyway I've started 100 happy days project and looking forward to focusing on the little things each day that make me happy :D
