Ooooh. Ladies, I shall be consulting you on all future purchases! THANK YOU! :T They look perfect, and I have a sneaking suspicion I shall also end up with multiple sizes. ;)

I took an age to decide, but ended up going for this one! (in burgundy). It's probably a bit bigger than I meant to go for, but I've suddenly thought I could do with a secure bag with a small bit of extra space for dark winter nights and room for gloves, so might as well invest. ;) Especially at that price! Plus I got it down to £35 as Mr M gets a bit of a discount on Amazon. :D

I showed Mr M the bags saying I'd got a hot tip about them and he shrieked that those were the first ones he mentioned to me when I started looking (I don't remember this) and that he actually showed them to me (I have no recollection of this), so now I'm in trouble for not listening to him, haha, but at least I got there in the end.

Gally, cut the strap. I suppose that's very true! Egads!

Mouche, which one are you thinking of going for?

It's become very stormy here, managed to get back in the house before the heavens opened & am now equipped with a cup of tea with an evening of films ahead. Ooh, and babycham from Christmas that needs to be decluttered. :A

Cottage pie for dinner, bulked out with all sorts lurking about the fridge/cupboards, can't wait if it's anything like the last one we made. :D

Still need to do some tidying, and some laundry, shall sandwich that between the films methinks.

:www: MFW Wonderment: Mr M donated 20p to the kitty bank.

:coffee: Simple Pleasures: wandering around art galleries and coming across inspiring new artists.

:heartsmil Burrow Building: coffee shop date with Mr M, where I had the best New York cheesecake I've had since being in, erm, New York. 15 years ago. Literally thought I'd gone to heaven with every bite. :o

Well, hello new best friend :kisses3:

    Good choice :)

The lucky beggar managed to get himself an NUS card! He's getting discounts all over the place, long may it continue. :rotfl:

They give them out here if you do an evening course at the local college, every year I think it'll actually make more money sense to sign up for a £200 course just for the card. The amount you can save on travel with one of them is insane.

No tidying done, and only one film watched. Cottage pie took an inordinate amount of time to make. :o

  • did some more simple living/minimalism reading which is really helping to shift my thinking about material things... I'm realising more and more than I don't want to weigh myself down with things I don't really need. And I certainly don't want to have to pay for the space to keep them!
    .

totally agree with you there pearla :)

    You're welcome, LGP :D

PFTP, it's liberating! I've got rid of so many notebooks, papers and old sketchy ideas I'd written down and held onto, I feel so much better for it. Every time I walk past the now spacious bookshelf I could almost skip with glee. :D
