WOW......Thank you everyone. I really wasn't expecting all those birthday messages.

Well, I woke up this morning to homemade birthday cards from the children , and then hubby splashed out and bought me a card and some Thorntons Choccies. (I didn't get an answer when I asked him if it had come out of his FUN money hehe)

Just gotten back from my childrens School Celebration Assembly that bought a tear to my eye.

Now I am just waiting until 11.30 and a friend is taking me to a fab Fish restaurant called The Hive in Burton Bradstock for lunch.
Its a mixture of birthday present and a thank you for looking after her son last week.

AND......Later on another friend is taking me to the cinema.

What an amazing day......and very frugal as I don't think I will need my purse at all. :j.

Its times like this you really realise what fab friends you have.

So it looks like I am going to have a fab day even though I am broke... RESULT!!

Thanks again for the birthday wishes. 39 doesn't seem so bad all of a sudden :D

Yay to cards and choccies and double yay to lunch at THe Hive, we regularly did coffee and cake there (out of season) after walking dogs on beach or cliffs, had occasional lunches, but when we were a three car family did not have enough spends to do it often.

reduced my overdraft by £100 over the weekend.
The advisor over the phone was trying to talk me out of it. Then when he realised he couldn't talk me out of it tried to get me a consolidation loan to pay off all my debts in one go, no wonder so many people are in debt.

    Hi MM

It was my first time to The Hive and it was really lovely, especially in the sunshine. I did clock the prices though , I was VERY relieved that I didn't have to pay.
£13.95 for battered Hake and chips!!!. I WAS the best fish and chips I have EVER had, but wow that's expensive.

    xx
