  • Haha I wonder how many times people have talking to been to each other on here and they end up knowing each other!!:D
  • Morning all,

Just a quick post at the beginning of my crazy week from hell :D

Got to juggle a 6 hour day at the turkey farm, keeping the house tidy, cooking dinners, childrens clubs, delivering this weeks batch of wreaths and also making Dd's birthday cake, cakes for school and preparing for her birthday weekend. Its going to be a busy one.

I have all of Dd's presents but no wrapping paper or birthday card. Got to find time to get that somehow, I was hoping to get time to go to a discount Christmas shop but think I have run out of time.

She wants to take a friend to the cinema and have a sleep over so the costs should be controllable. Looks like there are lots of childrens movies on at the moment.

Typically I turned on my phone this morning at 8am to get a txt from the Spa asking me to do a treatment at 930 . I am already dressed in my turkey gear, so I asked if it was possible to reschedule. My week is manic enough without him launching last minute treatments on me . thankfully I haven't lost the work, he has rescheduled it for Wednesday morning.

Ok had better take kids to school and get to work. Will try to check in each day but if I disappear I will be back I am just in panic mode ;)

Hope you do well at the nearly new sale, such a good idea. I ended up handing down most of my children's baby clothes. I missed a trick there.

It was rubbish :( I made £4.40 :( I think it was just December slowness though. Hopefully I'll make a bit more in the February sale

  • Morning,

    Phew....What a week .

We went to a fantastic Pantomine last night, but didn't get home till 10pm :o

Decided to not go into to do the Turkey plucking today. I could only work until 12pm anyway as its the childrens school nativity this afternoon. I realised I still have to make Dd's birthday cake and it will be very hard to make it on a Saturday when the children are around being nosey :D

I will post a photo of what I manage to achieve later :o.

Still plodding on with the wreaths, been delivering a few every day. Still got around 20 on order for next week, so plan on making more tonight and all day tomorrow so hopefully break the back on it.
Desperately trying to save up the money i am receiving from these wreaths to put in the bank next week. Its so easy to spend these £10 notes coming in, but the bank really needs it to get us through the Christmas break.

hubby is working 8 till 6pm every day but is on a much lower rate of pay but hopefully it will bring in around his normal rate.

Not much else to report. I have all of Dd's birthday presents.
Ds is sorted for Christmas now, I just have a few more bits to get for Dd.

I think the stocking fillers are all sorted. I just had a present to post and my cards to write ....Phew.

Hope everyone is doing well. will catch up with diaries soon xxx

  • Evening all,

So sorry to have disappeared the last week. It has been one hectic event after the other.

Dd's birthday went well, made her Frozen birthday cake, took her and some friends to eat pizza and see Paddington Bear on the cinema (Tesco Vouchers :D). We also went to Longleat yesterday, which was beyond amazing.

So today was my first day back to normal, I managed to make and dispatch 10 Christmas wreaths today. I just have 8 more to make to meet my orders. Will try to make some extras which will cover any last minute orders from people but if they don't get sold then we will use them for our family grave stones etc.

Think hubby will finish his turkey plucking on Thursday and we will then hopefully get his wages and i can pay the last of our debts for December.

Hope you are all well, I will hopefully finish the wreaths tomorrow and then have the rest of the week to get the house in order before Christmas.

    xxx
  • You sound so busy, don't forget to pour yourself a nice hot bath with plenty of bubbles to relax when you get a minute!

Good news on all the wreath sales, everything you have done this year has been amazing. Well done on all you have achieved and I'm sure that you will do equally as well next year to get the debt down even further.

Hope you have a good week.

    Hi Steph

Just catching up with your diary, you've been so busy lately. Hopefully things will calm down a bit now.

Dd's birthday sounds lovely - I think every child I know is obsessed by Frozen!

Hope you get all the wreaths finished tomorrow and then find some time to relax :)
