The hell happened to the forum? What happened to green? I don't mind flat but this is a green forum!

I'm home sick, again. But while physically I can only just wash up 3 cups and then have to lie down for a bit, cognitively I'm a mile a minute. Which sucks because I'm bored. Sitting up is annoying painful, so what on earth can I do to entertain myself? Reading the kondo thread on my phone because books are too heavy.

Kondo'd my pants, they're so small and neat. They're about to go into my presents trunk (where I keep any presents ahead of the big day), I'll probably regret it when I can't find them in their usual spot. :rotfl:

It's weirding me out that my first post is sitting at the top.

So one more day until payday!

OOooh Laura, financial statements sounds fun. In my job I pretty much just deal with financial statements :) I have 2 more exams for level 3 and then the whole of level 4. Boo. Halving your salary? Ouch! Can't blame you for not going for it.

Lilty I can see how it is very addictive for the people on the thread, some of them appear to be indoctrinated lol

I can't see that the forums have changed, still looks like it did yesterday to me

I love looking in my underwear drawers now! I didn't get round to doing the rest of my clothes as I felt so rubbish on Sunday, but some time of during the Easter hols so will have a go when I've got time to myself

Got to love pay day :D

And people with the face ache? Sorry, it's not funny, but my old dad (God rest his soul) always used to say 'Why have you got the face ache' meaning why are you so miserable. Love him.

Well, I've not got a lot to add to that KP. Hope you don't mind me butting in, with my awful humour.

I always call being miserable face ache too SS but then my cousin got trigeminal neuralgia and suddenly it wasn't funny to say that any more. bless her I do not wish to go through what she does.

Peaty I have been on the alpha version of the forum for a year, and its blue and white! Is that what you are seeing? They have messed up the layout again tonight so it goes directly to my unread PM's even when they are empty! I much prefer the new version to the old though overall. I can see all the posts I have missed on old threads, as a count. So your diary had 4 unread entries so it told me, and so on ;)

Financial statements all day, I don't envy you:undecided. I found level 4 easier than level 3 which I struggled with - are you studying at a college?

Oh it really does! And now I have announced to the world :rotfl:
My dad also said that, it's what dads do right? He also used to call us all hopalongs and ask why we decided to hurt ourselves. lol. Aww, still sort of miss the dad jokes.

How are you feeling now KD? Hope you're feeling better and have all of the neatly folded knickers :D

Lilt, yes I was on the alpha. It is nice looking but I was surprised because it was suddenly there and after about an hour it wasn't! Weird. I do like the new forum, but missed the navigator menu at the bottom of threads.

Laura, I'm doing AAT via distance learning. Are you at college with it? I get frustrated with going at a pace that doesn't suit me at the time. I get ill quite often but like to move quickly with studying when well. Although right now... ethics is boring... really dull. Very really dull! lol

KD, be proud! I. Have. A. CHEST OF DRAWERS. Completed this morning by the boyfriend. 1 hour assembly my !!!!! It's been two years! :rotfl: Have put into them a tiny amount of clothing, more clothing is sitting right next to me being ignored. :D

I have totted up my savings: £17,220.78! (in current accounts, this ignores ISAs)

Been having arguments with mum about me paying towards the house. It is crazy that she doesn't want me to pay, I am paid approximately her and my sister's salaries put together. I appreciate it gives me a great advantage in savings but I feel bad. >.<

I think it's time to get back to folding.
  • :j for your drawers :j

:rotfl: re face ache, it's why we chuckled even though it hurt :D

:p at Kondo'd pants I hadn't even thought it sounded like that :rotfl:

Hooray!!! Drawers!! I am jealous :o I haven't had a chest of drawers... erm.. actually ever in my life. Barely had a wardrobe for a good portion of it ;)

Enjoy fitting everything in and then opening them to look every 5 minutes :D xx

I was at college but the teaching has now finished which is why I'm finding it difficult to motivate myself for the last exam. Well done for having the determination for distance learning :T

I showed the contents of the drawers to my mum and sister, their reactions are very different.

Laura, I think college would be good for networking. Was it? (I should be studying right now)

I'm going to be a sourpuss so feel free to ignore the following:
Mum has lost her job, she'll have it for the next 6 weeks to 6 months but we don't know any more than that. My job is very insecure as of monday. Spent all of yesterday having one of the senior people in the company yelling for 20 minutes each hour.. My boss asked me where I see myself in a year's time. So basically I feel pretty bad for myself right now.

Cleaning right now, it should be happening but I'm here instead. I'm watching the hoarder next door, this counts right? To be honest, I have cleaned the window, ironed for an hour, did some washing, cleaned the bathroom and hoovered downstairs. I should be doing more...

Oh and I might be buying a chair but the staples chair I was going to get has come off sale.
