You could, but if the OP is happy with it, why remove it because of others bad experiences?0

In the event of any fraud while banking online with HSBC, I've covered myself.
I've complied with all HSBC requirements/reccommendations.
YOU REALLY SHOULD READ WADDLERS_8 post.0 -
Have been around computers long enough to know that problems/(perceived) causes are not always related.
>>>>>> and you're suggesting that anyone else posting here hasn't got your unrivalled level of expertise?
Still no wiser as to why I won't uninistall RAPPORT.
Again, only you know why you won't uninstall it.
Similarly, only you know why you're showing such an attitood towards others ....0 -

Many thanks for your reply.
As a HSBC/newly retired user I have never experienced the problems with RAPPORT you describe.
This MAY be because I am more understanding of the limitations of computers than yourself.
Ah, that must be the reason. Silly me.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -
I can't see the point of this, have they come on here to argue pointlessly with people?Friendly greeting!0

any extra software is going to have an impact on a machines performance, you may not notice, but it's there
AV software is there to protect against infections, if rapport stops a keylogger, it's your AV and browsing/clicking habits you need to look at.
in the unlikely event you are the innocent victim of bank fraud, you are covered by the bank anyway. Presumably this hasn't happened in 5 years, so you have had this software chugging away for nothing.
it can cause stability and machine problems, for example this user was going to buy a new machine because they thought it was broken, there are other examples.

if you are a hsbc customer, you'll have a hsbc secure key with a constantly changing number to type in for each banking session, without that, a keylogger/fraudster isn't going to get very far.!!

So pray tell us all....
if it is NOT a key logger as you say
How does is know and warn you when you try and use the same password on another site which it already knows you have use prior on one of its protected banking sites?
