Good point Shaun and Robot. In future I shall comment and not "click the tin." In my experience it takes a lot to have a spam post removed anyway, witness that both in this thread are still there!!

There are 5 'working days' per week. (Accepted commercial meaning of working days.)

Thus 13 days is 2 3/5 weeks which is the 'best part' of three weeks.

I read everyone's comments with interest. To check Simply Electronics, before buying anything, I sent a general email asking one simple question. No reply. Two days later I realisedtheir emails had arrived in my junl mail folder.
So, I gave them the benifit of the doubt and purchased a camera housing. Confirmation email by return. Update the following day. Upgraded delivery at no extra cost verified within the hour. Product delivered within five working days with delivery updates throughout.
Can't get much better than that. The product was £100 cheaper than elsewhere - bargain.
I hope they have got their act together and the rest of you resolve your issues.

I have just purchased something a few days ago at nearly £300 and was extremely shocked to read the reviews regarding SE. However, today I received my shipping information and tracking number (DPD UK) and was extremely pleased to see that my tracking number was valid and everything seems legit.

Furthermore, I phoned SE UK customer service number and spoke to someone (possibly not English) who confirmed my order and validated the item was collected by DPD UK. When enquiring further the support person confirmed they have warehouse(s) in UK and Europe and the head office is based in Hong Kong. My experience of SE has been fine and it seems to be hit or miss with regard to the outcome when ordering with them, not too sure if I'd deal with them again due to the large number of complaints etc.

WOW more dodgy posts by the websites owner i presume. Well done in bumping this website up to just below your own in a google search.

That should put more buyers off. Trust pilot reviews made me giggle, (the same poor use of the english language) reviews supposedly from buyers.
