    Evening everyone.

    Last present finally wrapped.
    Daily bits done.
A wee bit of washing done which should be dry enough to put away tomorrow night
Been to work for a couple of hours in A&E. Very busy today.

Ozzys Ben a bit manic today but he is calm now.

Hugs, spoons and sticks where needed.

All bedrooms clean (Valli mentally ignores the-heap-on-the-bed-which-still-needs sorting) and the kitchen and the bathroom are gleaning. I also thought to filter the sloe gin before cleaning the kitchen. The muslin (for I filter the gin) will go in a hot wash with the towels later. I have ironed a maidenful of clothes so they are airing; I dried outside today! A little bit of careful rehoming has gon on too, and DD has helped so things have been put away instead of down. I am burning (my first ever!) Yankee Candle - it's an orange votive; I forget the name...

    Thank you Honey Bear
  • Honey Bear, working on that logic, I think DH would prefer the drum intro from Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll"! :D I hope you enjoy your extended flying break, it sounds as though you have the perfect attitude for a chilled and relaxed festive period.

I've collected my children; boys are busy on computers (natch :o) and DH, DD and I are watching Crocodile Dundee; Christmas tradition :) I will be in bed and ready for the Homeland finale at 9; feeling very tired despite a relaxed weekend, I think that doing nothing is often the most tiring thing of all.

Enjoy your Sunday evening, all xx

    Evening all

Finally made a start on the wrapping, over half way done
All boys school shirts washed, line dried and ironed

Plan to get up early, think my VIP slot is 7:30 and then head to do my food shop and pick up 2 last minute gifts and go to the library then I'll start cleaning!

See you all on the other side.

Ain't that the truth! :D I'm shattered. Been here playing on the kids Xmas presents, lol. I expect they will want showing how to use them, immediately, so I thought I'd take a peek and find my way around. I like them,

And even better, I can have my ipad back :p

    Nodding off here...

Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, I have cleared the shredding, had a major tidy & flinging session in the livingroom, made tea and filled the wheelie bin with 4 binbags today in addition to what was already in there :D

Just written a couple of cards I'd forgotten to send, I have my list for Mr A & A!di tomorrow. Hoping to get there early before it gets too busy so alarms are being set as if DD was in school. ;) Mr A is opening at midnight and if I was on my own I'd go then :rotfl: A!di is opening at 8am apparently so if we can be up and out as if DD is going to school we can be done and home by 8.30 depending on how busy the shops are. ;)

I'm hoping to be done and dusted tomorrow so Xmas eve will be purely laundry and chilling. ;)
