I am having a wee DVD day in the house today.

Applied for a job this morning.

Sitting watching Beyonc! & my she is one hot mama!

Gonna paint my nails & maybe have a nice bubble bath.

That is about all for me today.

Might have this interview tomorrow still not heard from them. If I do though it will start at 8.15am. How can anyone even function at that time in the morning eurghhhhhhhhhhh

Friday I have another driving lesson but that has been changed to 11.30 so not too early.

It is my mums birthday on Friday but will be meeting her to take get for a wee afternoon tea maybe on Saturday cos she is working on Friday. Will check with her when she wants do it as she is the birthday girl.

Ok so have my interview tomorrow!!!

First of all the company directly called me to invite me to a telephone interview tomorrow at 1.30pmmm

Then about an hour later the agency that I applied through called to say I am booked in for the assessment & possibly a face to face interview tomorrow?!?! So I made the agency aware of the call I had previously & she said no that is not right you bypass the telephone interview as they cover that part. So she is goin to email me the details for the interview & she will send them an email to let them know to cancel the telephone interview.

Exited & nervoussssssssssssss, need to be at the agency for a pre brief tomorrow at 8.15am then onto the company directly for the assessment.

Gonna go start getting myself organised, defo need to straighten this mop top head do mine it is out of control haha

Good luck D. Hope it goes well for you. It does seem a lot of hassle to get a job now. No wonder I have stayed in the same job for 12yrs. Let us know how it goes.

In the interview from 8.15am till around 3.00pm.

Passes the assessment & completed the interview so just have to wait now.

Well I got a call from the agency yesterday & they want to offer me the job. We where discussing the salary at the interview cos it starts at £13500 & goes up to £16000 depending on experience so I said I would be looking to go in at the higher end of that pay bracket.

We shall see what they say, it is likely I will take it either way cos it's not like the time to knock back jobs is it really.

Also wee update on my weight loss, I went from 14st 12lbs to 14st 5lbs this week so lost 7lbs!!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyy now that will not be a regular thing first week is always a lot more than the rest but after that I would be more than happy with 1lb a week.

Also on the driving front I had another lesson & was on dual carriageways & by golly goshums it is scary when you are joining them eh!! Anyway I am starting on my mock tests on Tuesday. Think he will have me doin hill starts & emergency stops for the first hour with some manoeuvre practice then the mock test for the 2nd hour.

Now I am trusting you to keep a secret shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I haven't told ANYONE not even my husband who is snoring quietly beside me. I have booked my driving test for the 3rd February so I am gone concentrate on that alone now that I have myself a job & put 1000000000% into it cos I would love to be driving before I go back to work then I can maybe get myself a wee banger!

Well done on all fronts! How many lessons will you have had by February! Took me ages to pass my test, I only did one 2 hour lesson a week though

And on the salary front even if you have to go in at the bottom bracket it's always easier to get a pay increase once you're in the door!
