Ok so a bit about me I am 30 years old, been in debt since I was 18 years old & 1 day! Very precise but I had a call the very day after I turned 18 from my fabulous bank to offer me a loan & a credit card, this was the start of a very slippery slope.
Been in debt ever since.
Really wish I had listened to my mother who has never been in debt her whole life & who always saves up if she needs anything.
This is how I want to be I don't want to be always paying out my wages to companies that I owe money too it is so soul destroying!!
I have been recently made redundant & with my package will be able to pay off all of my debt but I am already worried about running it up again.
I am so used to just buying what I want when I want it even if there is not really any need for me to have it!
So from 2014 I am changing. I am not gonna waste all my money on crap.
I want to buy a house, let the saving commence.
I am gonna try to pop on here every day due to the fact that you are all so supportive & I love to read about everyone else's journey cos a lot of us are in exactly the same vicious cycle.
Oh yeah & I want to lose weight, who doesn't :rotfl:
So this is a whole life changing, debt free, house buying, stop wasting money & losing weight diary.

Hello Dolly Rocker happy shiny new diary. I've found my diary a brilliant tool to try and keep me on track with my debt repayment. I'm absolutely convinced I would have given up by now if I hadn't started it.
Good Luck :beer:0 -

Really lost the motivation & kinda faded away from this forum but I realised that I need this place!!
I know its a nightmare to be honest but life goes on & the job hunt will commence soon.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeek booked my first 2 hour driving lesson for Wednesday!!! Its a 2 hour lesson so that the instructor can assess me & see how many hours he thinks it will take for me to be ready for my test.
I went with the motoring company that is the first letter of the alphabet x2 - not sure if you are allowed to mention company names on here so just incase I get into trouble!
I am soooooooooooooooo excited

Applied for a job this morning, its a long term temp with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Its through an agency so we will see what happens.
I am stuck in the house today the weather is terrible & I do not have a single penny to get out anywhere.
I should get paid on Friday so fingers crossed.
The only time I will be out is my driving lesson on Wednesday & if I get an interview!
Fingers crossed.
