Updated my wee saving section on page 1.
Will keep updating this all thought the year will make life so much easier in December when I have everything budgeted for & saved up.
Done my weekly shop & that came under budget this week - yayyyyyy!!!
Will hopefully be able to start saving for the house soon but need to get a job first!!
My driving instructor has not been able to come for my lessons this week as his Mum has passed away so sad especially at this time of year.

What sort of a job are you looking for? When looking for help on CVs I went to a variety of Uni sites, the one I found most useful was the Kent uni one.
Well done on getting under budget : ) I'm actually reading this at the moment, it might be interesting to you too. : )0 -
I am gonna make an appointment for someone to have a look at my CV it comes free as part of my redundancy package so will do that in the New Year.
I have been looking for reception or administration jobs but they are so hard to come buy here. Will have a look at call centres in January.
Will have a wee read of that see if it helps.

That's good that they give you some career advice with your redundancy package. Hopefully you can get something soon and then start saving!
When it comes to grocery shopping, I buy basics where I can, meal plan like mad and try a lot of recipes by agilrcalledjack.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Yeah meal planning is the way forward.
I usually make the mistake of a) not taking a list & b) shopping when I am hungry! You end up buying a load of old rubbish you don't want or need.
Today was pretty good so will try to keep that up & the extra money can go to the savings.

I always liked doing maneuvers, but can't seem to reverse park or parallel park in my car to save my life!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170
