Try this, using the same browser.

Log out, and then log back in again. Don't check the "remember me" box.

Close, then re-open the browser.

Although you'll not be shown as logged in, you'll still be showing as online. Therefore, despite you thinking you are not logged in, others can view your profile and see that you are reading a page.

That is what the OP was complaining about - why others could see what they were viewing (whether that information was correct or not), despite them thinking they were logged out. This led to the OP (wrongly) reporting a user.

Yes this is true, the session persists for a period of time even after you close the browser. It obviously doesn't update though, so anything you do while logged out after closing the browser will not be shown.

So Daphne01, did you only view the pages that others mentioned you viewing after you had logged out, or were you viewing them while logged in as well?
