Mine has always said a figure however but no one will believe me.

The WP even gave me a figure.

    Mine too.

There was always a minimum, it was set low in case there was a lapse in jobs that week, however I felt their expectations of me to be incredibly low to start with.

Along with the minimum applications, were the types of jobs (last one I had they decided no-one outside of IT professional roles would take me, so just put those types of jobs on it), and the sources to use.

It shouldn't, but yes i believe you Ive seen them at my jcp and am always re writing jsags for customers. why restrict someone to 3 or whatever number per week its just madness.
Its not a restriction as I have never applied for just 10 in a week. I apply for as many as I can over the 2 week period.

She put 10 as she didn't want to put say 20

As far as I am concerned it is, there is nowhere in guidance that allows us to put a figure on the number of applications.

Do you personally withhold a minimum number to discourage someone applying just for the minimum number and nothing more? Just curious.

Where does it state that on the JSAG, mine doesn't say anything about how many jobs to apply for, it does state the sources I should use.

Same with me, my JSA agreement doesn't state how many Jobs I need to apply for, it just states other steps like: contact companies, visit companies, look in newspapers, look on internet 14 times a week ete.

Yes, of course why set the figures so low. Why give a figure at all? people should be applying for what they can not just a figure to appease the jc.

But as i said a DM would disregard a statement like that in a jsag,

can anyone comment on whether these decision makers decisions are legal, we work by law in this country. The gvt says you must have so much money by law to live on, yet some nameless people in a office somewhere can fine you. Is this legal?

what do these people think they are doing sitting in an office making decisions about people they dont even know?

Would they like their wages docked because the boss says they arent doing enough and keeps changing the goalposts.

I want to know is this legal?

Glad you quoted that because it looks like it was deleted.

red devil, your JSAG will specify how many jobs you must apply for every one or two weeks, as well as how many sources you must use, it's pretty basic stuff. If you really think applying for one job in two weeks is acceptable, then you really do not want to work.

really says who, you dont know how many jobs i applied for or on spec ones?

Then again, you sabotaged a job interview by asking them about sick pay despite people unanimously advising you not to, so it doesn't come as any surprise.

    Did I? Hmmmmm

Well unless you deleted that post too, yes.

And you even stated you applied for 1 job, AP007 quoted it before you deleted it.

You're more interested in being paid for being sick than earning a decent income, speaks volumes.
