Is it true that DWP/Jobcentre have targets for sanction JSA Claimants? it was on the news a few days back (think it was on Granada news, ITV)
It was due to a leak what's bought all this up about Jobcentre have targets to sanction people who are on Jobseekers but of course Iain Duncan Smith has denied the claims.
Well of course he would, he is a idiot! and he was the one who said he could live on £53 a week, I like to see him try.
If these claims are true then I think something should be done about this as Jobcentre who are sanction people for no good reason at all is making people's life so hard, fair enough if they don't agree or take steps from they agreement for JSA, but I read some stupid excuses from Jobcentre as to why people have been sanctioned.
This needs to stop, how do the advisors sleep at night

Rather than just saying "lies", perhaps explain WHY they are lies? Moreover, perhaps you should complain to the Guardian and other sources that are obviously and so clearly spreading lies about your employers.
 http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2011/apr/08/jobcentres-benefits-sanctions-targets
Of course, in this world of doublespeak, the word "target" may simply be substituted for:
 aim at
 aim for
 goal
 focus
 directive
 point
 steer
 recommendations
 personal individual performances
And so on. Thus if the word target is never used, one could still argue targets are not set if the word is perhaps discouraged.0

Why as clearly everything you read in the paper is correct.
I work there I gave never been given a target...never been told to aim for a particular number. So yes most advisors will read this and laugh because unless you actually work there you don't know the full story.
Ps the link you posted is from an article nearly 3 years old the new sanctions regime was only introduced late late year0

And you think it's only the Guardian that carried such stories? As I said, if these are all lies, you'd better contact sources such as the Guardian and put them straight.0

Sanction targets are common knowledge. Even CSMW's own union claims the targets exist.

Common knowledge really??? Do any of these links show unequivocal proof or just reffer to a poorly written email by one person in one JCP.
Do any of your links show facts, I think not.
And since when did I say I was in a union??0

This is your second thread about job centre sanctions in less than two months. If you put as much energy into job hunting as you do scaremongering, you wouldn't still be unemployed0
