There will come a day when these ignorant people will find themselves unemployed. I don't wish that on anyone, but I hope it happens to them one day and they'll see how hard life is on the dole!!

I'm one of those ignorant people who ended there but unlike you, I did take the first job that was offered to me, although it was a massive step down and I absolutely hated the job. That's ok, it gave me the motivation to look even harder for another one more suited and sure enough, I got there, no doubt being already in employment helping me with my application.

Most people are probably very foolish. A dead end job rarely leads to better jobs.

Because it is well known that being unemployed for many months does so???

All I get are dead end jobs

Have you ever reflected why that might be the case?

I think many people who you classify as right wing have themselves been unemployed - they've just gone about finding work more effectively (and more genuinely) than you seem to be doing.

OP, I live in the same town as you, and saw a job advertised in a shop window this morning. It didn't give hours or rate of pay, but won't be a night shift. I don't know if you drive or not, but it is easily accessible by bus. I will pm you the details.
