You can't go to an internet caf! and print off boarding passes because online check in closes 4 hours before the flight time. I think the charges for re-printing boarding passes at the airport were significantly reduced from the start of December, but this only applies if you have checked in on line.
Ryanair have bigger seat pitch than Jet2, Easyjet etc etc. - 30" as opposed to 29" for the others.
It appears not - Jet2 Seat pitch: 76cm (30in) (from their website)0 -
They don't like to make it easy for you, but it's not illegal!0

But are they? If these private car paring companies are being told by the court they can only charge the overstayer what it costs them in lost revenue for the parking spot ie nil or very small amount and not the £100's they would like.
It might be worth a moneyclaim online punt you will only lose the £80 or so if you lose.Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0 -
Hmm seat pitch of 30" on Jet2. Very curious to know where they say this. Do they also say that new aircraft being operated this season and next have seat pitch of only 28".0

I agree entirely, but i also wanted to be treated with respect. My main point was that Ryanair aren't your only option for a cheap no frills flight, and the alternatives are actually better and can be quite often just as cheap. Not always, i grant you, but with enough forward planning they certainly can be very compelling.
I agree they aren't the only airline to use, Iv'e used Ryanair, Easyjet, Flybe and they were all fine, all what I would expect from a cheap no frills airline. Id happily use RA again and I would follow the rules.0 -
Is it legal to charge so much for a piece of paper that I had to hand in to get given boarding passes?.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

That's a bit like John Wayne saying to the upside down Sgt. Petersen hanging pierced on bamboo pegs in the North Vietnamese jungle "Well you won't be doing that again in a hurry, now will you sonny?"
You heard Errata, now, you heard him ... Move Out! Yep C'mon Let's Go ... (nothing we can do! ... baaa, baaa, bleat, bleat ...)From the late great Tommy Cooper: "He said 'I'm going to chop off the bottom of one of your trouser legs and put it in a library.' I thought 'That's a turn-up for the books.' "0 -
Welcome to the world of grownups, who take responsibility for their own mistakes.
Second that emotion! I work the railways which have similar harsh rules, you lose your ticket you buy a new one, you miss your train with an advance ticket you buy a new one, you misunderstand your ticket, you buy a new one.
What Ryanair do isn't new. Its just not bending backwards to help when the customer makes a mistake or can't be ar'sed to abide by the conditions
By the way, we do try and help but we can't make people behave like grownups, a hint to people screaming at someone for your own mistake doesn't get you very far.:cool:But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
