    As we've already told you (over and over), attaching a large flatscreen TV via SCART will just highlight all the imperfections in the (at best) poor quality standard definition picture you'll be able to receive.

    41 posts? Ridiculous.

    I did not bring up a discussion about scarts, you did in post #7, and 9 of the posts since then are down to you, Ridiculous!

    Not forgetting that most of the watching of TV will be "as broadcast" through the aerial so not that reliant on the recording medium!

    Anyway, you do whatever you want, I'm not about to repeat myself again.

    You said the same in post #22, and you have made 3 posts since, so pardon me if I do not believe you;
    This is my last contribution to your thread (because I feel as if I'm just repeating myself over and over)

    Regardless, I maintain that SCART connections are not suitable for modern HDMI enabled TVs.

    If they are supplied with a scart connection, then by definition they are also scart enabled

    You started the scart discussion, I only asked for opinions on the TV. If when I do purchase a TV, then I shall address any connection concerns, but re this thread I don't care!

    I would have liked at least 2 scarts, (my PVR and VCR via STB are all scart.),

    Yes I "mentioned" scarts as an aside, there is a difference between mention and discussion!
    You started the discussion in post #7 and I left it alone until post 14 when I brushed is aside, I then, despite you droning on about scarts, left it until post#28:

    But lets forget the debate about scarts, that was not my question!.

    I asked question about a TV not scarts, if you want a discussion on scarts start a thread on them!

    Why don't you keep to your statements below and stop posting on this thread? You just can't help yourself:rotfl:

    I wonder who'll get the last word before the thread is closed?

    I never said I would stop posting, that was you, (twice)! So unless you have something relative to say re the OP and the TV, then reply,(again despite you saying you wouldn't), and you can have the last word.
