The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations say .........But if goods are sent to you by mistake, you need to contact whoever sent them to let them know and ask them to collect the goods. You might get goods sent by mistake if they are meant for someone else or you’ve been sent duplicate or extra items on top of what you ordered.
Ive edited the above to make it a big more easier to understand, although I dont think you want to. Youve asked for advice and people have given it, if you had no intention of following it, then why ask in the first place.
Someone has made a mistake, just think, they could get into trouble of even lose their job over it.0 -

Nice first post by a new member, how can I stiff a company for making an error!
Why do people come on here to try and be morally delinquent? Is it to try and get some form of support for their actions or are they just scared that their dishonesty will cost them?
If your going to be dishonest at least have the strength of character to do it alone. :mad:0 -
Whatever you do when sending them off, get proof they've been sent.0

Make sure you do contact the company. I wouldn't imagine so with such expensive items (and so many of them), but when I was sent an item in error (it was a £15 mug), I was told to keep it.
You never know!Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
Now 20% cooler0 -
of course you have to send them back, as if the invoice says 156 you are more than likely to be charged that and the rest has been sent in error.
If the company just sent you the power supply unit and charged you £156 what would you want done about it?
A. contact the company and ask for the mistake to be rectified.
B. Say oh well never mind I will let the company keep my money but not supply the RAM.0 -
Since the extra goods are not on the invoice then there really isn't any proof you have them so it's really a moral issue.0

It's amazing how all these distribution mistakes keep getting sent to people who are so busy they can't possibly send them back.0 -
If your happy to keep them then keep them. But id expect the company to notice. Personally id probbably chance it.0
