Thanks (I suppose...) Maybe it didnt come across as sensible as it could have been. :o

It made more sense on the NI forum. Once it was moved to where people didn't know you it kind of lost it's purpose. :)

Are you a member of your local Chamber of Commerce OP ? If so use them to have a word with the looney tunes as a collective, ask them to rotate their hate fueled Saturday splurges so as the rest of the town can enjoy it too :rotfl:

The chamber can also have a quiet word with the police too with regards the use of PA's on the street, although half these head the balls don't actually need one to be heard.

It is as you say a tough situation trying to run a business these days, this type of thing doesn't help struggling traders, PM me your location and I'll get my fellow Jedi up for the day to stand opposite them and intimidate them with light sabres :rotfl:
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

You get offended by people preaching in the street

I didnt say i got offended by them, i have a beef with them doing it.

Keeping the thread on track, a lot of people are "put off" shopping by people with megaphones forcing a particular message on them - whether that be a religious message or otherwise.

I can see the O/Ps viewpoint entirely on this.

My post about a belief in Santa Claus and a faith in ever rising house values was given the red card too.

I didn't know Santa was sacred. House price rises are however clearly a religious dogma.
