Sorry to hear about the colleague KM, someone making you not like a working environment is really hard going - you feel tied as it's paying your wages but making you feel 'meh' at the same time, which can be awful. Glad it's looking like it's going to get better though now
Fingers crossed too with the viewing
So, I've been a tad quieter the last few days - I've been reading but not posting - been quite busy and tired (in a fine way) and floated along the weekend. Have soooo much to do today though in work and I can't believe where the day has vanished to so far!
Had a mega cook up at the weekend so we're stocked with a few nice dinners ready, and lots of baked goodies too - woo hoo!
This weekend is DS1's birthday party and cost us more in food this weekend. We're so going to blow the reduced budget this month - just needing to keep as much control to limit the damage if possibleApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

Way to go "One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -

I've just found £45 in my Quidco account waiting to be paid out.........have pressed the 'pay me' button :T:T:T
Haven't been on that site since Jan so god knows how long that's been sitting waiting for me :rotfl:
This made me go to look at my own Quidco account, as I know there is money tracked there. Still just showing as 'tracked' though, so I don't know when I will get it. £55 though, so worth waiting for :Ttatabubbly wrote: »So guys, thanks for listening to my belly ache but I got the job!! Congratulations Tatabubbly. I hope you like your new job
Nice to 'see' you Skinty, I hope things look up for you soon
Well, we are still juggling bowls and buckets in the kitchen for dripping water each time it rains  but the roofer is starting work tomorrow, thank goodness!0 -

Came home from my weekend away today, the M1 had roadworks every few miles so it was impossible to do more than 50mph most of the way back from Yorkshire. The advantage was I averaged 58.8mpg meaning I used less than a tank of petrol for the round trip, so didn't have to fill up today after all - very pleased.
Called into the local supermarket before I got home. Got little gem lettuce, melon, a punnet of plums and a wm loaf all ys, so saved £2.80p.
The friend I stayed with has given me some bits to car boot, now just waiting for the weather to warm up so I can get selling0
