Well I'm annoyed...my new to me iph0ne came yesterday and it's in rubbish condition and not unlocked  the ebay listing said unlocked in 3 different places, so I have put in a dispute with ebay. Im hoping for at least half the cost back and can then sell the phone on with a correct description, which will hopefully result in a small profit and then I can buy one that is actually unlocked...annoyingly I now have to put up with my smashed old phone until ebay decide what they will do.

Seriously peed off as it would cost another £45 to unlock

Time to check ebay and see if the seller has responded to the dispute...:(

Typical! I rarely spend in Mr T these days, but spent enough to use a £6 off £40 voucher yesterday (took a lot of work to get to that big a figure too!)

As I will do a big online shop periodically and then use just such a voucher. They clearly want me to shop weekly but it takes me 4 months to use up everything from the last order.

am I right or have I totally lost the plot lol

I'd never heard of them before either, so did a quick G00gle.

They appear to be prepaid Visa Cards that you can use for on-line shopping. As I don't do my grocery shopping on-line (rarely spend more than £10 in one visit to Mr T or Mr A these days) they're clearly not for me.

Total spend day today, heading out to lunch with a friend. Kinda excited as going out with her and her month old son! Gorgeous wee thing! Other than that, no big spends planned. Hoping not to spend too much so I can have some money leftover

Yes 3V cards can be used for purchases up to £25 online. There are SO many places that accept them, Amazon, Boots, High Street vouchers.com. There are 100 of places

I have to go to work now but I will answer any questions you might have tonight

Are you buying any of your expedition items online?

As with any of my spends, it depends on what I find where with the best price.

I don't think I've actually got a lot left to get for the Camino other than a few bits I'll pick up in store to avoid postage charges (and my passport and my travel to/from). I sometimes pick up second hand books, DVDs and CDs from Amaz0n (using my personal credit card), but I've been reigning in my spends on those and using a 3V card looks like a lot of faff for a spend of what will almost certainly be under £1.30 (most of the ones I get are 1p plus postage, which is £1.26 for a CD/DVD).

Do you have any low energy bulbs? If you are on a low income or benefits you might get some free bulbs depending on your electricity provider. Though if you can consider LEB bulbs. They use half the power of a low energy bulb. So less than 10% of what you are using now. Very handy if you leave lights on.
