GoldieGirl, what cruise did you book? I'm sooooo looking forward to ours this year. 3 years ago we went on our first (and only) cruise and t was only the third time the boat had cruised (and it was they 20th year of the company too) - it was absolutely fab!

Sorry to hear about the unit DawnW. Hopefully it will pick up, otherwise as you say will the craft fairs be better for you?

Nothing spent here today, and tomorrow we have someone popping over to have a look at our house to give us a building quote.

After that I have my (free from work) eye test. I'm pretty sure I now need glasses - work will pay for the lenses and I have a choice of free frames but the ones I saw on the site from the Co that do the vouchers aren't my style. Not that I know what my style are.... So I expect to be spending out on frames sometime soon :(

Then we'll grab in a few bits from Mr T as we're cutting down now and need a few (cheap) store cupboard items for some recipes we want to try and bits in for healthy breakfasts too

nsd/npd, and covered the tiny bit of loose sealant around the bath with tippex, it's now lovely and white and saves the cost of having someone in to take it all off and replace it. I used tippex to cover a small chip on the edge of the bath when I moved in, 10 years later it's still impossible to see unless you know it's there.
  • oh sparrer great tip about the tipex! Have a couple of wee dints in my bath, might just give that a go!:D

    Morning Frugglies.

Yesterday turned out better as I forgot about the free milk as part of my veg box. So I can get through today without any spending. Though will need to get some more milk sooner or later.

Noticed that this month was not so good on the spending but I do go through phases so hope that the guilt will get me back on the straight and narrow.
It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.

I keep my spuds in the shed outside, cool and dark, keep the top rolled down otherwise they think the daylight is spring and start sprouting. I bought a bag for £4 the week before Xmas and it's still going strong.

I don't post much on this thread as I have my diary, but I always read it daily to see how every ones getting on.

Thank you for the music skintygerlinky, I always listen

I've subbed to your dairy TM6 and it's great, you have a right community going on there.

I've managed a whole 3 NSD's so far this month, but am on track to be within budget by the end of the month.
