Im sure i heard you can stockpile vouchers in your amazon account is this correct..im going to see if i can get maybe £75 at the end of year in the amazon account to buy some christmas goodies ..thanks all have a great weekend xx
I saw the Amazon voucher but assumed you had to get £15 credit to get it. Will def be getting that when I hit my next £10 total, thanks for the tip!
Yep once you enter your voucher code on Amazon it stays in your account for a year I think. Just be careful if you buy stuff between now and Christmas that it doesn't automatically take your vouchers instead of debit card etc, you'll need to un-select that each time you check out.New graduate trying to get debt-free.
Make £5/day challenge: August £84.08/155
I owe £5400 (plus £34,000 Student Finance)

You can stockpile them for as long as you want. I have just taken delivery of £60 worth of Amazon vouchers from them. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -

The vouchers are valid for years. Mu current vouchers expire in 2023, and 2024. Though I use the balance first so I never need to worry about that. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -
Hi All
Just got me a free shower timer from the water company. It 'allows' you 4 minutes but I'm trying to do it in half that. Hoping it will save me water and electricity. Also turned the temperature down a bit-less luxurious but also less drying to my skin.
I am frugal but there are some things I wont cut out.
(Not neccessarily in order of importance!) :
1 Highlights 3 monthly
2 Heating
3 Wine
4 TV Football subscription.
5 Treats for my 2 dogs
On the other hand some of my furniture is a little dated. Its all a question of personal priorities I suppose.
One of my little economies has been to paint all the walls in my house white, with cheap 'job lot' emulsion paint. I can refresh my decor twice a year, by merely touching up the marks in 30 minutes-tops .
Bliss-always hated decorating and white provides a neutral backdrop, for what kind people might say is my unique furniture style .0 -
I have been going through my seeds, and looking online for the chespest/best deal etc... I was also looking at potting tables etc.. flipping heck what a price on them!!!!!!
so I am getting hubby to put our old sink and draining board that we took of the house onto a frame, so the sink will be ideal for mixing up the compost etc.. and then I can pot on the draining board part... so saved a fortune out of something that would have ended up going to the scrap yard.....
this is the type I am using
