  • Believe me this cat is in really poor condition.
Now I'm sure I done good job for the cat.
She is so friendly, she desperately need contact with people.

Phew!!! However, if that's all that's 'wrong' with the cat, ie. pure neglect - then that'll be easily corrected with some TLC and regular meals!Fingers crossed that the blood tests come clean. I doubt you'll see any posters from the owners for a missing cat.

Heavens, my little cat is quite a small frame (most people assume he's female) and he weighed 3.7K at the vets, I dread to think what 2.7K of cat feels like.

Well done Ewa for following your instinct that things weren't right.

my smallest one is 4kg and looks like a spider, can not imagine 2.7kg adult cat :(
  • My Gizmo is a small cat too (just under 4kg) and he looks tiny, I asked the vet if he was a healthy weight when we went for his vacs last week as I worry he is under weight so she must be all bones and so so fragile. Poor little lady.

No matter what anyone says you've all done an amazing thing, I just wish I could help also but I'm miles away and on the bones of my butt this month.
  • 2.7kg !!, my 16 yr old girl is only 3.2kg but she is the smallest cat ever, she looks like a kitten.
Well proves the so called owners are full of excrement, you could maybe give the benefit of the doubt if it was a year or two but ten,
    I dont think so.
gr and ewa,on behalf of this poor cat, thankyou so much, what you have done is wonderful,I wonder how many people have walked past this cat each day?,
god bless you both ,and keep us all updated as this cat now has a big
    fan club xx

As I said before, Ive happily rescued animals from animal charities, but Id never hand one into a charity that has a policy of putting animals to sleep and as far as Im aware both the RSPCA and the SSPCA in Scotland do.

My mum once took in a cat that was emaciated, he was skin and bone when he turned up in her garden, but fast forward 6 months, he was like a fat barrel, so much so when I saw him I screamed.

Well done, hope the cat has a happy life now.
