G24 have passed unpaid fine to CCS Collect - what should I do?

That's the $64,000 question. That said - I was being slightly facetious - in the unlikely event that you do receive a LBA/LBCCC then come straight back here so that we can guide you in how to reply. Thanks BrigtonandHove,
Yep, I'm all read up and now aware of LBCC/LBA/LBC letters.
I am inclined to sit and wait and see what happens, and the fact G24 haven't taken anyone to court (YET!!) gives me more confidence to take this stance.
My own concern is if I do get an LBCC/LBA will the charge have already increased above £100?
Feeling brave (or stupid!!) lol
Thank youMy very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

Only if :
> G24 decide to take you to court ( very unlikely )
> If G24 win ( even more unlikely )
Even then they can only claim their losses plus court costs. A well constructed defence ( with help from here / Pepipoo ) will generally win.0 -
Today I've received another letter from CCSCOLLECT.
the letter is headed Notice of Intended Action. I'm not sure if this is the same as an LBA / LBCC letter as there is no mention of court?
The letter goes on to say one of the following actions may be taken without further warning:
1. Arrange a local collector to make an appointment to visit you at your home to discuss this debt.
2. Recommend to our client (G24) that action is taken against you.
I'm interested in views on whether I should continue to ignore as I have done since August or pay up?
Thank you0 -
2) indicates that they are recommending the PPC take action against you
this therefore means its not from G24 or the landowner, merely another DR letter
post #10 already answered your query as to most of this post above0 -

All part of the chain. Notice the word MAY rather than WILL
Also CCS don't send people round. That is an out and out lie isn't it CCS and G24 ?
You're near the end now - maybe one more letter with some red on it that the office monkey will have added with a felt tip pen ( pencils are too dangerous for these dimwits )."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Every man, woman and their dogs have ignored these letters for so many years that there are versions on the ''PPC Letter Chains'' sticky thread (which was at the top of this forum all the time) dated from 3 or 4 years ago:

What makes you think it's any different now just because you missed your chance to quash this at POPLA and stop the letter chain? It just means you've got the junk mail everyone always used to get before POPLA/POFA existed, that's all. The letter chain from CCS Collect hasn't changed much in six years and G24 are not litigious, have NEVER done court!
You are in 'ignore mode' - you have debt collector letters, so what? Just keep them all in a file (just in case). This is not a LBC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have now received a further letter from CCS - Recommendation To Litigate
And they have offered a discounted payment of £50.
I'm continuing to ignore as I have done for the last 5 months..
Thanks everyone for your help and advise so far, it's appreciated!0 -
