Airer stripped
WMx2 and hung up to dry
Dishes WUDUPA, kitchen tidied again, nice to know yesterday's strop had an impact
Dinner prepped
DD's hair straightened
Gas and elec provider switched, should save us £250 or so this year :money:
Now off to pick through DSD's hair as she is crawling with lice
Checked everyone else and we all seem clear, thank heavens.

Feel so tired! DD was up late, DS up early, been to Santa train and out for lunch (all very nice) with lots of friends. Now could really do with a nap but after last night I can't risk letting DD nod off again
DS didn't eat his lunch so is now sat here with a plate of sandwiches. WM is on, and other than kid-related tat everywhere, we're not in too bad shape. Might escape upstairs to go finish the bath panel.
Left the heating on while we were out :eek:Bossymoo

It has been an exhausting week. DF took a few days to wake up after the 2nd op and spent a while in intensive care. He has now move back to high dependency.
This is the first day I haven't visited. I needed to sort some things here and my bil offered to take my Mother to see DF. I rang hospital as I hadn't heard from anyone my DF is a little improved from yesterday and has eaten. They have left NG tube in case. They told me my Mum hadn't visited so I had to chase that up. She isn't well.
Thanks to Deco for thoughts & others. I'm not up to date.
Ironing done by DH
Christmas decs part up. Half tree lights not working.
Nap taken (made me feel worse)
Corner cupboard sorted
Hairy Potter Jumper to finish by Tuesday (cuffs, neck& sewing up to do)0 -
Gentle stroke on its way for Olliecat, hug for NattyThe cold never bothered me anyway0

Well this week has not quite gone to plan, as I have been rather side tracked with paid work and course work. Not too worry I have pottered around today and done a few things and hopefully next week I can get things sorted out in time for a festive week x0

Glad he's had a better day, dancemum, hope he continues to improve.
Hope you're bearing up ok, natty
I've finished the bath panel and put the bathroom back to rights, and wrapped DS stocking fillers. They're not bothered for choc bars, so no selection box as such; I got some mini divider trays with lids and have put a variety of sweeties in (handful smarties, dolly mixture, haribo etc) each little slot, looks quite cute
WFH tomorrow, with DS concert in the afternoon. Need to pop to town for some bits and another gammon, if I leave it till next week, he won't have any  and we've nearly eaten the last one...Bossymoo
