Been to my voluntary job today so each room given a quick once over. Glad I've been keeping on top of things. Did get to Mr As this morning and got a gift card for my sister.

Washing in.

Hot spot s the coffe table so will give that a tidy up.
Need to grab Ozzy again to put more drops in his ears.

Need to decide what's for tea. Starting to really hate mealtimes...

Right, off to shuffle some laundry and make up DD bed again. Not sure mine will be dry yet though.

Just settled down to the dancing. Kids in pjs although DD has a party dress over the top

DD bed made, still mine to do but stuff almost dry. Kids fed, hob cleaned (again), two more candy sleighs made and some more brandy poured over fruit. Oh and recycling put out. Getting wild out there again...

Feels like its all coming together.

Wrapping all wrapped apart from the odd bits and OH's stuff that was supposed to be delivered today yet hasn't been.. I am NOT impressed.. naughty Tesco lying to me.. they will pay for this.. ggggrrrr... Irate email outgoing!


I wrapped and bagged up all the extended family stuff too and sorted nieces birthday for end of January.. I am getting DS2 an ipod for his birthday but that will wait until after Christmas. I feel most organised finally.. though I have a shopping list.. Is it only fair to get Jacob a new dressing gown when I have got one each for Fabian and Samuel???


I have the biggest ulcer in the world on the end of my tongue .. ice cream for dinner and I have entirely lost my voice... I can manage a whisper so the girls are whispering back to me.. what is most amusing is.. OH is too heeheehee!!

pigpen it might be worth sending them a message on Facebook too, they responded to mine within the hour when I had issues with uniform I had ordered, cover all bases and try and get it sorted asap. Hope pixie feels better soon.

No flying today Dd has wrote her Christmas cards to her class and done a bit of homework on the pc (this was from about 10am not now lol) I am now laid in bed

<pong alert> whew, the acrylic filler I've just used on the bath panel stinks. Opened window, had to clear sill as its blowing a hoolie but *fingers crossed* seems to have filled the enormous crack. And the foam I put on the inside earlier should strengthen it too. Just remains to sand it smooth and then spray the coating.

Also made my bed. DD is in it apparently her curtains are "too scary". And her bed is "not good". Guess what I'll be sorting in the new year? Pfft. Asked if she wants to move rooms, and she said yes and a big bed with a ladder that's sorted then. Can I refuse to paint it pink? I would negotiate down to lilac, maybe... But I love the soft green she has now.

So no wrapping done tonight but DIY 2/3 done...

ETA: where have the little #*{}*%}]]s hidden my nail varnish!

Christmas tree is decorated. It kinda looks as though a bauble factory has barfed on it but I like it I despise tinsel so all we have is a few bead strings, the lights and 82,000 baubles.

DSD and I had a major falling out over her ever increasing pickiness at dinner time. I made HM meatballs and tomato sauce and she refused to eat them, as she "doesn't like beef". I lost my rag; she doesn't like beef but eats lasagne at her Nan's, doesn't like cheese but eats pizza when it suits her, doesn't like bone-in chicken but will scarf her dad's KFC given the chance, doesn't like anything from a pig but can eat three bacon sandwiches in one sitting, and so it continues… :mad::mad::mad:

I'm at the end of my tether, I pay for all the food shopping here and as much as I would love to feed them meals based around chicken breasts all the time, I can't afford it. There is a big difference between not being able to eat something because you genuinely don't like it, and turning your nose up at it because you'd prefer something else.

She'll eat what the rest of us have or go hungry from now on. Wicked step mum strikes yet again.

Ollie is no better, if anything he is so much worse. He has lost almost all his body weight while we were out today.So we have decided the kindest thing for him and let him go with dignity. So first thing Monday morning we will say our goodbyes to him At the vet, unless the decision is taken from us sooner naturally. He is asleep under the bed where he let DH put him at bedtime. 😥:(😥I will miss the old grump.. I'm a bit of a wreck at the moment so shall see if I can peruse the boards to send me to sleep..lol
