    I am still reading but have had the delightful sickness bug since Wednesday so not a lot of tidying going on.

    ETA Fhizzwhizz, that isn't wicked. It is exactly what you would do (and I do do!) with your own. I have SSs so I do appreciate the added complication.

    Still not feeling great but after 2 weeks the house is not looking great so need to get on with it regardless.

    Monday ~ Grotty Kitchen and Gloomy Dining Room
    15 minutes...
    Declutter and mop/vacuum the floors
    Find and wipe the worksurfaces
    30 minutes to spare...
    Wipe the big appliances and units.. don't forget kickboards!
    Wipe small appliances and replace.. do one thoroughly.. descale or decrumb or degunge!Clear and wipe a shelf or window sill
    Got an hour...
    Wipe the table and replace the cloth if necessary.
    Sort through and clean out one cupboard
    Clean the oven and hob..
    Extras
    • Get those last minute cards and presents posted!!
    • Clean out the fridge.. make use of anything almost past its best
    • Wash the windows
    • Clean the top of the kitchen wall units.. if you can reach.. no accidents please!!
    • Dust and Deweb

    Tuesday ~ Luscious Living Room, hallway, stairs
    15 minutes...

    Clear the floor of clutter
    Tidy the baubles and lights on the tree.. OR PUT UP YOUR TREE
    30 minutes to spare...
    Vacuum the stairs and hallway and living room
    Wipe and water plants
    Wash the windows
    Got an hour...
    Wipe the sofas and wash any skanky soft furnishings
    Sort coats, shoes and bags
    Wipe the paintwork in the hallway and up the stairs.
    Extras
    • Check the smoke alarms
    • Fill a binbag for charity shop
    • Finalise your christmas menu and shopping list
    • Defluff and deweb these rooms

    Wednesday ~ Brilliant Bathroom, Sociable Study and other grotty places!
    15 minutes...

    Clean the loo and the bath and the shower and the basins!
    Defragment PC and run spyware scans while scrubbing
    30 minutes to spare...
    Wash windows and any chairs/sofas
    Clean curtains/blinds etc
    Declutter floors
    Got an hour...
    Wash bathmats/shower curtain and furry bog hats
    Replace any sponges/flannels/toothbrushes etc that need it
    throw out any empty bottles.. decant dribbles into fuller bottles
    Extras -
    • Finalise those last minute presents you have to buy..
    • Post all the cards you need to post
    • Wrap all the presents for family/friends
    • Finalise shopping orders/lists for your christmas food shop.. remember shops are only closed for one day!!!!

    Thursday ~ Master messroom! and landing
    15 minutes...

    Strip the bedding and get it washed!
    30 minutes to spare...
    30 minutes floordrobe/junk clearing!
    Vacuum and turnthe mattress, vacuum the landing and floor
    Remake the bed
    Clean the windows
    Got an hour...
    Wash any curtains/etc that are in need
    Wipe down all the furry paintwork
    Fill a binbag for charity shop or the bin!
    Extras
    • HHI
    • Update remaining present lists
    • Collect all the dirty laundry from upstairs
    • Clean out any pets/wash pet bedding
    • Wash some light shades

    Friday - Let's play catchy-up
    15 minutes...

    S&S the kitchen and bathroom
    Spend 30 minute pampering yourself!!
    30 minutes to spare...
    Catch up the the window washing
    Catch up on the floor mopping/vacuuming
    Catch up on the dewebbing and dusting!
    Got an hour...
    Collect ALL the dirty laundry from about the house inc and bedding that needs changing.. and if you didn't do it yesterday -pet beds!
    Spend 15 minutes on your filing
    Clean ALL the filters and drawers etc on the kitchen appliances
    Extras
    • Wipe down ALL the paintwork you keep putting off
    • Choose a manky kitchen cupboard and make it shine.. the inside.. NOT the outside!
    • Straighten the baubles and lights on the christmas tree.. and if you haven't done it.. get it up stop being such a humbug!
    • Write and send the remaining christmas cards!!
    • Stick all your cards up!!
    • Update remaining present lists!!!
    • Wrap remaining presents..
    • Make a timetable for christmas prepartions.. turkey in.. turkey out.. etc!!!

    OH full of joy this morning by the sounds of it.. ggrrr.


    Pixie up and fed and snotting :( she is not too happy but has managed a few smiles.. she is rather lovely..


    Cuppa time then these 3 smellies are going in the bath.. then I am wrapping the last 3 or 4 boxes of oddments then getting that shopping finished online with the aid of a credit card and an apparently sore finger.. wonder when I ate that?! (I am a finger chewer when off kilter)

    No flying today, I must iron we have all been better for nearly 24 hours now and I have still not done anything useful.

    I also have washing to catch up with, I think if we can all go naked for the next 5-7 days it should give me a chance to wash/dry/iron all clothes lol.
