Hi Honey Bear and thanks for the company. Well done for your hot-spots & hope all goes well for your DH.
Good luck for Olliecat, too.
The veggie situation was worse than I feared and called for an emergency pot of minestrone soup, now bubbling away happily. Fridge is wiped out and I've just set some bread dough churning in the mixer. So I think I have deserved a sit-down with a cupper.
Afterwards I'll take a trip to the compost bin, feed the birds and think about the bathroom niffs...

everything crossed and flylady vibes needed for DD1... she is looking at a house up the road from me.. she currently has no hot water or heating and hasn't had for 6 weeks and her landlord is poop... so could we please have some 'new house' vibes for her and Samuel so I can have them closer and warm and in a much nicer safer area???

Oh thank goodness, a catch up day! Today will have to be laundry focused - the laundry bin is just about to overflow which is when REAL mess starts in this house. So I reckon I'm about 3 loads behind. I know the tumble drier isn't MSE but its a real physical energy saver and helps a lot on days like this when theres lots of get through.
I have a doctor appointment today. I have accepted that my GP can do nothing to help with M.E/CFS or the symptoms, but I really want some sort of help with dealing with my headaches and migraines which I've had since before becoming ill. I've asked for help before and lets just say I got brushed off. I don't think anything sinister is causing the headaches, I just want some help or advice in preventing and managing them, especially the migraines. Does anyone have any helpful tips about talking to your doctor? I'm leaving at 3:30 for the appointment.GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

healing vibes for Ollie cat
Justice vibes for Honeybear OH
new house vibes for pigpens DD, same thing happened with us when Dd was a baby it was chrimbo time snowing and freezing cold (she was only 3 months old) council fixed it and billed the landlord and we left to move to this house. Best move we have ever made
We are all poorly here so not much done just trying to keep on top of washing.0 -
I think I'm addicted to ebay buying at the mo, all baby stuff.
compbunny thinking of you. I struggled with me a few years ago to the point where I couldnt move yet still had to. They had me in needs that I think were a placebo. I scaled right down with what I did each day, sometimes only managing the school run and I think I'm on the other side of it although I still have off days it's not like our used to be, but then I don't do half the stuff or work I used to. Have also struggled with migranes where I used to lose my periphiral vision. Following a dentist trip and teeth removals they vanished. Have you tried food diaries to see if there is a trigger. I think with the dr just don't let them fob you off and see if you can be referred. I saw neurologists and eye dr specialists for it to be my back teeth.0 -
*new house vibes* for Pigpen's DD1 and Samuel.
Effective doctor dealing vibes for CompBunny.
Shedloads of GUAG vibes for everyone who is dragging themselves through the day. *faintly saintly* vibe-type feelings for you all for everything you are achieving.
Spice cupboard nearly sorted, very little out of date but new Chinese supermarket big bags needs to be incorporated into squished-full space. Crowbar required. Food shuffled between storage cupboards to make space for gifted supplies.Better is good enough.0 -
My GUAG has gone on a fly-lady vacation with everyone else's I think. I spent two and half hours on Skype to DD1 this morning with lappy in DD4 room. She has a black puppy ATM as other people are starting to wind down for the holidays, but she has practicals and exams right upto the 23rd. Not helped by fact DD2 is coming home for the holidays tomorrow.
Natty Good news vibes for Ollie cat, and some new home vibes for Pigpen's DD1.
Time for another brew, time for a proper read of Fred and cross off Listy for stuff done overnightThe cold never bothered me anyway0
