OK, I'll check that all out tonight.
So do I approach the companys that are on my/DP credit file to say we are acknowledging the debts, or just deal with the ones coming through the door?
And the ones coming through to us, do I ignore them and go to the original creditor?0 -

It's clear you are unlikely going to have spare 'surplus' money that you can use to offer towards your debts. You may wish to consider looking in to a Debt Relief Order. It's a possible option:
