If you like the products, just not the rather rubbish customer service in your local branch, is it possible to shop online, OP?

Yes it did actually. I am elderly and disabled and do not expect to be treated like a criminal when I am not doing anything wrong.
For them to deny it happened when speaking to head office makes it that much worse.

Send them a strongly worded E-mail, I bet you'll probably end up with a gift voucher. :D

I was expecting another newbie having a moan about Asda banning them form the store or soem other reason but it appears I have been disappointed.

OP shop online is the answer.

I think you will find this is probably down to the recent £5 voucher scams that have been running since May using safe coupons which are actually not that safe, all have lost I would estimate millions between them

You'd think that would be the answer but then look at that Tesco thread which got locked last week.

Why would you want a gift voucher for a shop that humiliates you?
  • For me to be humiliated Asda would have to have an "all clothes remover machine" and stand me there naked.

And I would still only be humiliated on a cold day :):)

OP you take things too personally, these things happen.

But at least other customers would have somewhere to hang their hats and coats
