I don't know what viva is talking about.
Michael is using airport codes. I recognise Amsterdam, Heathrow and Gatwick. Don't know what CPT is but I'm thinking about it. Don't want to cheat.
I guessed a particular city in Europe but it wasn't that.
It's obvious once you know. I guess that's the same with everything.0 -

Does anyone know what would happen if I booked a flight from AMS to CPT via LHR on BA and 'bailed' at LHR on the way back (the return includes LGW to AMS final leg). Booking class J for the SH and I for the LH.
You will get away with it. You won't even need to make excuses at CPT why you want your luggage accessible at LHR, as BA will expect you to take your own luggage from LHR to LGW.
There is a whole thread on the BA flyertalk forum on this.

DH is doing a lot of cooking at weekends ATM. Yesterday he bought a deep fat fryer. This both excites and horrifies me. His aunt has wanted me to get one for particular recipes, but I have never needed open, my family have Never had one, DH has never used one either.
Any way, he made fritto misto for RP and himself last night and it did look amazing.
This morning he is making star shaped doughnuts. His aunt would be so proud. Lol
Later I have to work out how the hell you dispose of this quantity of oil and sort it out.0 -

Lj, i you were confused by michaels' post, I wouldn't click silvercar's link. It's complete foreign.
I had to search for CPT. You were right, Generali.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Those doughnuts look amazing! I would love a deep fat fryer but worry about the fire & burn risk, as well as growing huge.
I'm going to cheat and have french toast with maple syrup.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

We have coped very well for years with out it.
Its true doughnuts which I make ( unless something else happens) once a year for a particular reason for DH do seem better in this. I also think gnocchi fritti will be better, but I have np made them three times ever I think. I imagine we'll get it out once maybe twice a year, use it then put it away. Its the icecream maker I miss and that would be dangerous. Icecream with a self freezing maker is dramatically easier. Blood orange and caramel icecream lingers on in my memory as one of my culinary peaks.0 -

Cousin bought an ice cream maker for Christmas. The bowl is in the freezer as we had a conversation about making ice cream this week. I want to put amoretti biscuits in it.
I need to read the instruction manual as I'm clueless as to how it works.
I've never made ice cream but I still have an inkling that my life's calling should involve making and selling ice cream.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I have an ice cream maker which lives on top of my wardrobe at my parents' house... I won't tell you how old it is, or how many times it has been used in that time (it was from my days working in a well-known kitchenware shop). Must remember to bring it back next time I'm there...0
