Ouch - that sounds diffcult, tomterm. Can you reduce risks by going to a dental hospital instead? Would that help?

No, not really. There's not a huge amount that anyone could do to reduce the risk short of giving me some dodgy anticlotting drugs that carry even worse risks IMHO and which I wouldn't want anyway.

Sorry CK, the NPs have sexual discrimination. Women and girls only, until they've all done one, then the blokes can have a turn.

Yes - the nice men always make sure the nice ladies come first.
    I think....

Trying to watch the hunger games (having read the books).

Cut, cut, jump cut, handycam zoom, handy cam pan, cut, cut....for those of us who suffer motion sickness this is impossible to watch without getting first a headache and then vomiting :(
    I think....

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Not an easy choice. Sorry to hear that, tomterm. :(

Just in case any NP are interested...
The friends were pleased to get their seccateurs back, and the husband (who was the owner of the lost gardening gloves) said that the replacement ones I got for him were perfect. Which was a bit of a relief because I was judging from his wife's description of them over the phone when trying to pick a pair to be like his old ones.

I also bought a bedside lamp for DD (only £5) to stop her nicking my desk lamp. :)

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I've not seen any of the films (yet), but I'm sure I had the books. Can't seem to find them though...

So looking forward to the kiwi coming home tomorrow. Non RP says enjoyed having him and going to miss him. I'm wondering what his reaction to last few days will be.

When will your pole come down, lir?

Will you still be able to get online to post about his reaction by the time he comes home?

    <whispers>

we moved in over two years ago, and have several boxes lurking that aren't unpacked yet.

If it makes you feel any better, I still have a couple of unpacked boxes from 10 years ago, and we only unpacked another dozen last year....:)
