I don't buy the White Book (which is a long, detailed, intensely dull step-by-step guide to the Civil Procedure Rules, associated Practice Directions, and relevant case law. I don't do enough CPR-governed work to make it necessary. OH shares one with someone else in his Chambers, and looks things up for me when I do need something checked.

Unfortunately we have to, as besides the page numbers, somewhere there will be a change to 8.2.1.4 (i) and some smart a*** will bring it up at a meeting and make you look a numpty, even though it's completely pointless.

    Absolutely fuming today.

Youngest had a revision day at school with a defined finish time of 2.30pm. I turn up to pick him up at the specified time and find youngest on his own, in the pouring rain, outside the school.

I don't know how you cope Sue, beyond just having to because thee is no choice when dealing with a system.:(

I'm dog sitting 2 dogs this weekend. Any advice?

Leave the bike at home and go for long walks - or is that bad advice because it's too hot?

    Or dog type :D

Exercised dogs are happy, tired dogs are easy. ( with the sun 'bursts' in the last couple of days the kiwi has recharged his batteries, but the others haven't.

Fwiw, I don't tend to let's dogs that aren't mine off the lead unless I know we are in contained areas. They might have 100 % recall for their owners but be oblivious to other people. I don 't want to find that out when I'm in charge.

Big dog is about to have ANOTHER phantom i think. Poor thing :(.

Aw poor thing:(. None of mine have ever had a phantom and currently they are all girls, though I know one had pups and I suspect that one of the others may have had pups.

Nooo, never let a dog you don't know off the lead, far too many disasters in the making.

    .

Its not a good thing, all these phantoms. I THINK but don't know that there is a correlation between them and some of the female cancers. Its why I wanted her spayed so badly. Curse fate!!!

She's too old now really to GA for a 'needless' operation.

She's also, in the last week, had a determination in her back, she LOOKS fine, but I have notices her stumble a few times. This is a very different patterns o what normally happens. Normally they start to scuff back feet a bit. She almost never scuffs a foot. And she is playing happily. New pills really the ticket.

While she's just stumbling a bitI think I'm ok, for now.

For full effect you should listen to it in the dark, standing under the shower. It was cold and rainy that night. Have you listened to it yet - what did you think? Does it have the visual stuff too?
Listened to the first half of disc 1 (it's a 2cd set).
Liking the way it jumps round all over the place.
Can't stand that it has dooms night on it.
No visuals, just 2 audio discs. As you know, I've a lot of cd's. I have most of his albums, live at the big beach boutique 1 & 2, an australian mix called dance b1tc4, and I also bought another ebay purchase of a brazilian album called fala ai he did.

Concertlive who did the recording did similar for an underworld show I went to (indee the last one I went to). It was great to have a copy of the actual show!
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Its warm enough to open the big dors in the cheese room this morning and throroughly air it while the dogs and I stay in there. JOY!

Big dog is on her bed. Dog dog has moved into a patch of sun on the floor (grey hounds ARE part cat) and kiwi is skipping in and out. It actually feels like spring!

I'd say more about the day but my windows are so filthy that I actually cannot see out to the south at all. :(.

I want to go and see some stone for the floor in here in the next few weeks. The stone seller is only open tues to thurs mornings, that makes going with DH difficult. :(. He does trust me but I don't want to make such a. Huge decision with out him being there. I guess I go and have a look then go again if one of them is a possible.

Can you buy or borrow samples? That way you can bring home and show fir in situ in his time. I'd imagine yours would be a reasonable sized order for them to be flexible.

    ....

While it's difficult without being able to see a pile or a spread - and the full range. It's worth a visit, take photos .... and buy some single tiles that you like (he might let you borrow or have them) ....

Ultimately though, until they're down you'll never know... but a start might be laying down some samples in the relevant room.

Needs an app really ... upload a photo of your room, mark out the floor area, then click on tiles and it overlays them on the photo to give you an idea
