What is a TIGER NUT!?????????
I want to know about this????
(Btw, nuts are also on my nono list now, so I had to ditch hazel nut milk.
I'm using lacto free as recommended by silver car but only in small amounts and cooking but think I might not be tolerating that???? I dunno, I'm so confused I'm giving up caring
I find I have to have full cream or semi skimmed lacto free where I might prefer skimmed usually, because its quite sweet. The fat seems to off set the sweet ness a little.0 -
It's not a true nut apparently, but a tuber seed. They are delicious as horchata, which has a nutty flavour, sort of hazelnutty with a hint of almond. You do need to be careful if ordering though to get horchata de chufa as other versions can be made with real nuts.

I'd try. Dog dog is stripey, she'd look good with a tiger chum.
We'd need more and bigger dog beds.
Don't think they would be any use as a source of tiger nut milk once you had done that though....I think....0 -

They (lactofree) do a skimmed version now.
M&S have brought out a lacto free version that tastes sweet, they even say on the packet that it is sweet.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. How many nice people still occasionally scrub floors, like on hands and knees? I cannot find any way to clean floors that us better.
Second part of question how many nice men (or women) have NEVER scrubbed a whole floor rather than just a spot clean?
We've been trying to use the wet floor cleaner for the concrete floors. (Because I am not meant to bend over or keep my head low for long periods of time, and we have a lot of concrete floors), The areas I have scrubbed are notably cleaner and lighter coloured that the bits than have been bissel -ed, steam cleaned or worst of all mopped.
I have scrubbed, with a toothbrush, the grout in my kitchen. well worth the effort and possibly the damaged nails. I'm hoping I won't need to repeat too often.
My cleaner
does the floors with mop and bucket every week. With instruction not to let the wood get too wet. I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I had the skimmed one first
. (You recommended lacto free top me first) I found it a little 'sweet'. I've gone up a fat gear because it seems , flavour wise, to balance the sweetness a little.
I prefer skimmed milk.
Nothing. Lacto free notwithstanding, compares with the taste of least messed about with milk. I haven't bother trying to replace cream or yogurt yet.0
