I don't particularly like quorn, personally, it has an odd aftertaste but I'll eat it if it's necessary to be polite to some vegetarian who offers it to me.
Edit: I don't really see why quorn is necessary, there are so many things you can do that are tasty with vegetables that don't require a "meat substitute". Can't see the point. If you like meat, eat meat.
As a vegetarian, I really dislike quorn. I particularly dislike the way it is steamrollering soya alternatives out of supermarkets. It makes me feel slightly ill when I eat it too, which cannot be good. Though as a long term veggie, I'm purely looking for other protein sources, not something that tastes like meat. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? It's important to me to thank people. No idea why. It's just something I do.
I'm exactly the same. That's part of why we're nice.:)
Edit - I do it as I want people to know I haven't taken them for granted when they've done something for me, as well as to acknowledge to them that they didn't have to do it, but it is greatly appreciated. It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Now I like quorn, but it isn't vegan, so I don't have it. And I love a wallow ina bath with a book or preferably a magazine that requires even less brain activation.

Sorry if it's bu88ered up the post width, but it took me 20 minutes to move from camera to Evernote to here and I'm losing the will to live.

As CK is around, wanted to ask a question. Saw Sochi on a map and didn't realise how close it is to Georgia. So will the extra security necessarily reach into neighbouring countries? It must make driving to/from pretty difficult. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Its the food version of a conspiracy theory post as it stands. Nothing to back it up...
Its a blog post on why pork is never served at Meyr clinic.....hang on, I can find it.....

See nothing seriously 'scientific' but interesting to think about, particularly for those of us with connections who don't eat pork and often wonder what the whole picture behind the theory might have been..
Sorry to quote myself but no, no, no!I'd be worried about eating a diet that has a philosophy. and be wary of getting advice from somebody that shares that philosophy.
It even mentions getting rid of the "toxins"! :rotfl:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
I'm still ok in the supermarket though, they have hire chairs so if I need to do a big shop, we can borrow one of theirs. Same for going to Ipswich, if we go in via the park and ride, we can hire one of theirs....Norwich in half term will be a problem though but fingers crossed, the local nice man might be able to get something sorted enough to do that trip with my current unhealthy chair.
Have you thought of Shopmobility? Only short hires though. I guess if I was on my own I'd be thinking of using them in town, but currently it's easier to have OH in charge of the wheelchair. He fortunately isn't a Schumacher, though that does sound fun I don't think my back would take the various "Designer Pavements" in the city centre - cobbles are just awful! And those things to alert blind folks to edge of road at crossings - pure hell in a wheel chair! Surely there could be something alternate that doesn't hurt one kind of disability while helping another?0 -

It's illegal to drive from Russia to Georgia unless you're a national of either country (or have Propiska from Krasnodar Oblast), although it will consider it illegal entry on Georgian side. I drove through legally last year, presenting Georgian passport to the Georgian army, and Russian passport to the Russian army.
Security procedures I don't know, as the main terrorism threat is deemed to be from Dagestan and Chechnya rather than Georgia.

Sorry o time to read everyone elses messages till later.
My refusal is confirmed, annoyingly on very narrow grounds that make me think an appeal might be worthwhileThe proposed dwelling would however result in a significant change to the present outlook fromdetrimental to their amenity.
the rear garden of No. 134, which would be 4.2m to 3.8m from the rear garden of No. 134, with
an eaves height of 5.3m and a length of 10.1m. The visual impacts to No. 134 would be
exacerbated by the application site being 0.2m higher than the rear garden of No. 134.
Due to the relatively small distance of the proposed dwelling from the rear garden of No. 134, in
combination with its height, length and location to the south of this garden, the proposed
dwelling would result in loss of light and overshadowing to the southern parts of the rear garden
of No. 134, particularly in the winter months. The proposed dwelling would also be a relatively
small distance from the rear garden of No. 134 at 4.2m to 3.8m, and taking into account the loss
of light and overshadowing to the rear garden of No. 134, would on balance be considered to
appear harmfully overbearing to the occupants of No. 134, and is not acceptable as it would be
We are talking a low-eaved (skillings), low pitched roof 2 storey building 4m from the boundary at the bottom of someones garden. About 20 other potential issues have been considered and found acceptable. My understanding was the accepted standard from the BRE for shadowing of gardens was whether it showed a spot in the centre of the garden at midday on the equinox which this is far from doing and a diagram was supplied showing this. the existing trees on both sites, some which are evergreen already cause much more shading than the new house would.I think....0 -
