In trying to encourage mum to eat when she is on her own, I did put some Smash in her flat. For when she can't be bothered cooking properly for one. I noticed that it had been replaced, so it can't be terrible.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. If you miss it, you can do it all over this evening.

Another Aldi offer. Those mentioning dog beds recently may be interested in this one:

Personally, I find small tins of pineapple are great for "grab and eat" and instant custard.
Tins of soup are good food when you can't be bothered - Mr S does a nice beef stew and dumplings can, which can be microwaved in about 2 minutes.
For microwaving cans, I find a Pyrex measuring jug is good as it's microwave safe, holds a whole can, can easily be stirred and poured into a bowl.
My mum used to eat a lot of toast, so I used Milk and More to get fresh milk/bread to the house 3x a week. Milk and More has no delivery charges, although you pay a little extra per item, it was easier than other ways to get a few fresh things to her regularly.0 -

Heirhunters this morning is a bit different and interesting. They're not chasing bona vacantia people, they're discussing complex cases they were working on as part of their usual business, where people contact them to do tracing.0

I've been watching it too. Very interesting. I quite like it when it isn't all about F&F. Really surprised the vicar didn't make a will though. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
