Not on strike then NDG?It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
The School Of Life have announced a second set of "how to" books:

Why didn't they do that a month ago? (Or, why didn't I notice a month ago...).
I have read 5 of the first 6 set, & quite liked them, so it is very likely I'm going to want these...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

the recipe I have at home also includes egg (only one). Essentially it's a halfway house between a cake & a biscuit. Tastes very chocolatey
Apparently it is lush with custard.
I only heard of it a couple of years ago, & made it for friends who haven't stopped jibber-jabbing about it!

Those who know me .... will know that I've recently got a string of 80 Xmas tree lights.... yes, 80. Now, you'll also know that I like to "keep things nice" and devise systems to keep things nice.
I've just packed them away ..... and found a great way to do it, ensuring 100% that next Xmas they won't be tangled at all. And, having got to the end ... I am pleased to report they also fitted back into the original box, always a little joy of mine
Only took 15 minutes, in total, to remove them from the tree and wrap them up nicely and get them into the box.0 -

Anyhoo that's the Xmas decorations out of the way and I'm back at work with a bang.:pThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
