I thought that seemed a bit 'dangerous' as the pie's then been reheated once, which would mean you couldn't keep the rest of the pie and nuke it the next day ....
    .

Lots of chef's do it that way. I'm assuming he chilled it for no more than an hour or two, in which case it's safe. Modern refrigerators are so much better than they were ten years ago...

If you leave it overnight in the fridge then reheating is probably still not advised.

Edit: Pie is best served with chips, and lots of pastry. Any kind is good as far as I'm concerned.

i got my 800m badge when i was younger. i reckon i could swim about 25m these days before sinking.

    ask for a spoon?

was it a proper pie, or just a dish of meat with some pastry on top. the latter really winds me up.

It was that! - about as practical as soup in a seive. Useless! They should stop letting village idiots design meals.

And baked beans..... unless it's white sauce, then it's frozen peas.

Luton parking: try holidayextras through quidco. They sometimes have very good offers.

Hugs to bugs, sorry to hear things are not looking good.

We are meant to be getting our heating system sorted, but after lir's experiences, we are waiting until January. Hopefully a 1 piped system will become 2, with nice new radiators.

  • Back from Feltham - and knackered. I need a lie-down before I tackle Afghan night, and OH has offered to bath and bed the Snow Frog, so I'm going to have a glorious nap.

I can swim, breast stroke with my head out of the water. But I can carry on and on and on. OH, who is much fitter than me, is always amazed that I swim faster than him and for longer.

No idea what you're on about.

Google says its pea pie and pud.

I can only think of pud as pudding. Pud for 'spud' or potato. I didn't go through spud to get to potato, as obvious as it now is. Funny the phrases one doesn't think about origin. I suppose I don't think about potato that often!
