Like a wetsuit - they have a long string thing so you can zip and unzip yourself, with the zip going all the way up the back.

It's possible to do it yourself like that, although it's still easier to get someone else to do it, especially if your hands are cold.

They were probably worried that their new hairdos would get spoiled?

Border collies don't recognise a concept of weather too bad to go out.

You aren't recognisable in the sense of picking you out in a line-up, but you still look gorgeous and glamourous - b1tch!

Dog dog and kiwi definitely hate bad weather, but kiwi was keen to u do hair do. :p

FC is beautiful. And it suits her well. :). Nothing b1tchy about her in the least!

None of the above. You need a Peugeot 505 Family Estate. There is no rival! Except a Mazda MX-5, but that does not have quite enough seats.

Those were great - my Mama had two of them over a long period of time, and I nicked one (with her permission, not actually stealing it) and went camping with 5 mates of mine in France before we all started uni. All 6 of us and all our kit went into it with no problem.

I actually think my mother was remarkably trusting to allow her 19 year old daughter and 5 mates to borrow her car for a week going abroad. But I was a trustworthy and relatively sensible 19 year old (-:

No, she's gorgeous, clever, beautiful, glamourous, nice AND good company. It's not fair!

FC has a particularly wonderful presence though, I agree, both puts one at ease around her yet is invigorating. :).

Excellent! I've never even heard of Esther Williams, so you're streets ahead of me. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    Really?

She was an old movie star, but unlike Fred Astaire she didn't sing and dance.....she did synchronised swimming. Hilarious concept.

When I was very little in the pool I used to pretend I was Esther Williams :rotfl:

First YouTube search result for her is this

She has the ability to smile broadly underwater, without coughing and spluttering. Impressed!

Hmm, GDb turns it into a life lesson. If Esther Williams can do it in a pool, why cannot we in daily life, on the tube or walking down the road?

Collective groan.......do you think my painting will come today? I double checked and it says it can take up to 15 days, So that's a problem and if it doesn't come today or tomorrow I will probably miss it, because I cannot linger around the house after that. Groceries, holidays, dog to vet

Deliveries are a pain. I hope it comes.

My sibling sent me an email to say there's been a parcel sent to my address, for me to take "down country". Trouble is, my door/address is hidden from view, so a delivery would go next door, not to me, unless they are in and direct him. So I can't even "sit and wait" as I can't see the road or any delivery/driver unless I go and sit on the kerb all day today ...? tomorrow ..? Saturday ....?

No tracking, no idea when it's coming or how.

It's a right royal pain not having your own delivery point/letterbox etc, but common in "the cheap seats".
If only Rosario were bringing ours?

Was it Rosario? The delivery guy with tracking?
