we all get it wrong sometimes! and quite honestly, mistakes can become the family joke................when my kids say 'Remember the year when mum/dad...........' I cringe but have to laugh too!
the most frequently brought up was the year I was shopping for new pjs for their 'little gifts', and inadvertently bought three sets of boys pj's - my very girly DD had Ninja Mutant Turtles ones! and as she was the oldest as well - she wasn't amused!0 -
Why all the fuss about Advent Calendars? I am sure their days are numbered. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0

I think I beat you in the Bad Mother stakes - I got 4 advent calendars this year. One went to my 13 year old son (perfect), 2 (a 'boy' one and a 'girl' one) went into school for my year 13 form group (yes - that's right - Year 13!!) and the last one is sitting on the counter in the kitchen because I DIDN'T SEND IT TO MY SON AT UNIVERSITY!!! I know he's 19 and he doesn't know I have bought one for him, but I know!

When he comes home, he gets the ultimate treat he never had as a kid - getting to open loads of windows and eat the chocolate all at once - and you can tell him that was your plan all along...:whistle:I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Hehehe, another 2 arrived through the post this morning.
Thanks granny0
