I got banned for suggesting the HPC property bears needed to make an apology to anyone that followed their advice.

Someone totally lost their rag and the next thing I know it says 'your post will not be published until a moderator reviews and accepts it'. Since then I can't post anything.

The Guardian refer to the site a fair a bit, bet they wouldn't if they knew how flipping 1984 the free speech is over there.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

I was banned on there for suggesting that price alone is not always the deciding factor when buying a house, but often families choose an area for schools and need to move in a certain timeframe in order to get their kids settled in.

    I'm a monster.
  • I was banned for implying that Bruce Banner was a n0b who couldn't add up, and that Realistbear's advice was about as reliable as the British weather, and that the Masked Tulip was a horrible gollum who revels in others misfortune.

Couldn't believe it when i couldn't log on the next day.

Oh come on surely you're not being serious?

Half of the population is below average intelligence, it's only fair to let people know that proportion is somewhat greater on HPC.

Poor old Bruce Banner isn't a well man. He thought I was a sockie for a poster I had similar (although not identical) opinions and posting style to who had stopped posting around when I started; because obviously two separate people couldn't possibly disagree with his mighty opinions.

Part of his "personality" acknowledged the irrational paranoia of that position because he'd refuse to try and justify it, it being rather obvious that there's no reason just to create a new account for no apparent reason.

He also thought I was a VI (vested interest) despite not having thought the other user was - needless to say the hopeless contradiction couldn't overcome the worrying paranoia.

As for his sums, Judge Judy always says that the problem with lying is that you have trouble remembering all your lies, that's another of poor old Bruce Banner's problems.

I was banned for no reason at all.

Have bought a flat, but still think there's massive problems ahead. Maybe property, maybe currency, but something has to crash.

Yes, they're a group of very worried paranoid people.

Yawn, I sense much bitterness here.

    Bless

I'd be bitter too, if I predicted a 50% price crash by Christmas.

How is the one man buyers strike working out for you?

Remind me: is Bruce Banner the one that rents a house for about 2-3% of its value and has investments earning him a safe 6% a year?

I can't say that I'm usually much in agreement with HPC, but there is a thread running at the moment, with this:
